Meet Norm Kraus, Jr. Township Manager Norm is a graduate of Penn State University with a B .A . in Broadcast Journalism and Speech Communications . He is a Lifetime Member of the Penn State Alumni Association and Nittany Lion Club . He has previously served on several committees at Penn State Beaver . He is Immediate Past President of the Hopewell High School Baseball Boosters and is in his 17th year as President of Beaver County American Legion Baseball . He serves as an usher at Our Lady of Fatima Church and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the B .F . Jones Library in Aliquippa . Norm resides in Hopewell . His wife, Margaret, just passed away on February 12th of this year . They have three children; Andy, 28; Susie, 26; and Justin, 20 .

Meet Marie Stratakis Hartman, P.E., Engineer/Assistant Manager Marie is a graduate of Moon Area High School and received her B .S . and M .S . Degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Business Administration Degree from Robert Morris University . Marie is a Professional Engineer and works closely with the Road Department, Sewer Department, Park Department, and Planning/Zoning Department and is dedicated to the advancement and promotion of Hopewell Township . She works very closely with all Developers and oversees all development projects in Hopewell Township . Marie also serves as the Hopewell Township Assistant Manager .

Meet Jamie J. Yurcina, Field Technician Jamie is a graduate of Hopewell Area High School and received his B .S . in Land Surveying from Penn College . Jamie worked for his family’s business, Yurcina Land Surveying, until 2014 when he came aboard as the Hopewell Township Field Technician . Jamie oversees the growth and Development of Hopewell Township by ensuring the organized completion of all development projects according to Hopewell Township specifications and expectations .

Police Chief, Brian Uhrmacher Brian came to Hopewell Township in November 2014, after more than 30 years of experience with the Greece NY Police Department, where he began as a Dispatcher and rose to the rank of Captain . He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy’s 248th Session and holds a Master’s Degree in Legal Studies/Homeland Security from California University of Pennsylvania . Brian and his wife reside in Hopewell Township and they have three adult sons .
