Majic 107.5 Hosts Private Listening Session W/ R&B Sensation Tank

Atlanta’s Majic 107.5 radio station held an intimate listening session and Q&A with R&B sensation Tank for his 7th solo album Sex, Love & Pain II. Held at Zucot Gallery last Friday, Host Maria Moore dug deep to find out the true meaning behind his music, while playing a few songs from the album.

Fans awaited Tank’s presence with small hor d’oeurves and limitless Tanqueray, while enjoying the sounds of SLP2. When Tank finally hit the scene, the women sought their way closer to the stage to hear questions from Moore. The conversation got a few women pretty hot and heavy. She asked how Tank was so in tune with women and their needs, he responded, “98% of what I write is personal; as long as I live (my life) enough, I’ll have another song,” just before playing his new single “Relationship Goals.” This sexy ballad is reflective of society’s views of a perfect relationship through social media memes, This could be us, yeah If you let me own it This could be us If you let a real ***** win for you, sings Tank.

Keeping the men mindful of their decisions and regret with “Better For You,” She said, don’t share what’s mine, make me feel special I wanna feel proud when I stand next to you Too accessible they think they can grab you Be respectable or those bitches can have you How could I not promise you perfection? I’m gon’ have to answer to my reflection. I’m realizing there’s way too much on the line, sings Tank; and women drooling with “F***in Wit me,” reminiscent of sexual foreplay, he has set the bar high just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Tank and Moore also spoke about his rigorous social media campaign via Twitter based around his album and the personal experiences about sex, love & pain from his fans; the support has been outstanding. The sequel to 2007’s Sex, Love & Pain, his album features artists such as Chris Brown, Sage the Gemini, his artist Siya, Yo Gotti, and Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman on their smooth duet, “Already In Love.

The Sex, Love & Pain duology is the evolution of a woman; in 2007 she was heartbroken, now today that same woman is happy and full of love, understanding the pain she went through.

The Q&A ended with a serenade of some his past hits over piano, such as “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” “One Man,” “Please Don’t Go,” and his first single “Maybe I Deserve,” which was written on a napkin at a restaurant after an exchange with his significant other at the time.

He followed up with pictures with all in attendance including Atlanta’s finest bachelorettes, industry influencers and music executives. His tour kicks off on March 7th in Dallas, Texas, hitting other major cities–New York, Washington, D.C. Atlanta, Chicago and more.
