Supplier should be authorized dealer for sale and purchase of Lead Acid Batteries from reputed company as per environmental norms. 1. The tender document can be downloaded from website: www.esic.nic.in, from 20.11.2017 to till 11.12.2017 12:00 noon. 2. The interested bidders may submit the tender online at http://esictenders.eproc.in, in a two bid system in the prescribed performa as detailed in portal. Tenders are to be submitted online only through e-procurement portal. 3. The documents to be submitted by eligible bidders in the document downloaded from the website along with Earnest Money Deposit of Rs. 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand Only) through Demand Draft in favour of “ ESI Fund Account No.1” payable at Ranchi in a separate envelope marked EMD for :- a. Bidders are requested to submit the rates in the performa mentioned at Annexure –III. b. For all practical purpose, the e- tender shall be considered for evaluation. However, In case of any dispute, the physical documents would be scrutinized. 4. Last date of submission of tender: 12:00 PM on 11.12.2017. 6. Technical Bid Opening: 03:00 PM on 12.12.2017. 7. Financial Bid Opening: To be decided after technical bid evaluation. 8. EMD Deposit: Rs. 60,000/-. 9. Scope of Tender : The Regional office, ESIC, Jharkhand is intent for supply and installation of 240 Nos. of 26Ah/12V VRLA SMF Batteries of Online UPS providing minimum 30-45 minutes backup and 184 nos. of 150Ah/12V Tubular Batteries for Inverters. The online UPS batteries and Inverter Batteries warranty should be onsite and mentioned on company website portal as per OEM. The Competent Authority has the right to increase or decrease the quantity of items online UPS batteries and Inverter batteries at any stage.

Reyaz][Subject: Geography] (IJRSML) ISSN: 2321 - 2853 \\\\\\ Effects of Urbanization on Pollution: A case study of Jamshedpur DR MD REYAZ Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Karim City College, Jamshedpur Abstract: The industrial township was created in 1907 to serve the Tata Steel works in the tribal villages of Sakchi. Previously it was called Sakchi but its name was changed by Lord Chelmsford. The old railway station was known as Kalimati railway station whose name is now changed to Tatanagar junction. Jamshedpur city has outgrown beyond such essential facilities as water supply, electricity, sewer system, drainage, transportation, sanitation services particularly outside the Tata owned area. It is the largest city in state of Jharkhand. From last few decades due to heavily industrialization, deforestation and migration this township is facing some severe problems. The aim of this research paper is to highlight the problems faced due to heavily industrialization, Urbanization, deforestation and migration. Introduction Jamshedpur, India's premiere steel city has a picturesque location on the confluence of the two rivers the Subarnarekha and its tributary the Kharkai, in an undulating micaschist plain surrounded by rugged hills and hillocks of the Jharkhand particularly the Chotanagpur plateau. The industrial township was created in 1907 to serve the Tata Steel works in the tribal villages of SAKCHI.1 In the north beyond the Subarnarekha lies a range of hills known as the Dalma range (926 m) dominating the whole landscape.
