The home is comfortable, but not fancy and has room to sleep up to 10 people if they like each other. It has 3 floors and a loft. The first floor has a large bedroom with 1 king bed and a trundle (2 twins) and a full bath. The second floor is the kitchen/dining/living area (one couch has a fold out full size bed) and there is a half bath. The third floor has a TV room, a bedroom with 2 extra long twins and a bath. Stairs from the TV room lead up to the loft where there are 3 more twin beds. There are decks on the 2nd and 3rd floors overlooking the 6th hole of the Mountain golf course (an "executive" course) and a seasonal stream. It is not child proofed for very young children - lots of stairs that have no child gates. In winter there is skiing at nearby Diamond Peak, a very family friendly area. Mt. Rose and Northstar are about 20 minutes away. It is about 45 minutes to Alpine Meadows. Incline Village has 2 golf courses, open late spring to early fall. The lamp's height, measured at the tallest part of the extending arm is under 28 inches. The bellflower shaped glass shade, 8 inches at the widest diameter, is in cream and rose hues with a scalloped edge and painted roses. There is a single, tiny hairline fracture at the scalloped edge, only noticed when the diameter was measured. The shade can be attached/placed so this is indiscernible.
