294 K-12 private and independent school teachers and administrators along with 40 presenters, 17 vendors, volunteers, and guests from across Minnesota attended the 2015 STEM Education Conference. The day’s agenda featured 56 breakout sessions featuring a rich variety of opportunities for teachers to explore STEM teaching and learning experiences and methods.

2015-2016 STEM Grant Program In the spring of 2016, MISF awarded 33 STEM grants totaling $129,476 to member private and independent schools across the state. STEM grant funding supports MISF schools in their efforts to introduce or enhance STEM learning opportunities for their students. Since 2009, MISF has awarded 160 grants totaling $796,055.
