This strain was clustered into the Eurasian genetic subgroup of genotype 1 (street rage). It is established that the Ussuri and Lipovtsy forma tions in the reference section of the Markovskii Peninsula rest with unconformity upon Upper Triassic strata. The continuous Cretaceous succession is revealed in the Peschanka River area of the northern Muravyov Amurskii Peninsula, where plant remains were first sampled from the lower and upper parts of the Korkino Group, which are determined to be the late Albian–late Cenmanian in age. The taxonomic composition of floral assemblages from the Ussuri, Lipovtsy, and Galenki formations is widened owing to additional finds of plant remains. The Korkino Group received floral characteristics for the first time. The Cretaceous flora of the peninsula is represented by 126 taxa. It is established that ferns and conifers are dominant elements of the Ussuri floral assemblage, while the Lipovtsy Assemblage is dominated by ferns, conifers, and cycadphytes. In addition, the latter assemblage is characterized by the highest taxonomic diversity. The Galenki Assemblage is marked by the first appearance of rare flowering plants against the background of dominant ferns and coni fers.

    The Migration Intentions of Primorsky Krai Residents The preservation and increase of the population in the regions of the Far East is currently of a strategic nature. The demographic potential, which now characterizes many Russian Far Eastern territories, is no longer enough for sustainable development, economic growth, and the introduction of innovative technologies. In fact, the demographic development of the regions is becoming one of the key factors of the national security of the country as a whole. Occupying one of the leading places in the Far Eastern Federal district in terms of socio-economic development, Primorsky Krai, however, shows the same negative dynamics of demographic processes as the other regions of this territory. Over the past two decades, there has been a natural decline in the population, which is characterized not only by low birth rate and by high mortality, but also by significant migration outflow (Table 1, Table 2). According to official statistics, the demographic losses of Primorsky Krai from 1992 to 2014 amounted to more than 350 thousand people. About a third of this figure is due to migration loss. The gender and age structure of the population has also undergone very significant changes. If in the Soviet period the population of Primorye was younger in comparison with the Central regions of the country, now this difference is almost erased. The average age of the population increased from 37.9 to 39.1 years between, for example, the 2010th and 2014nth. Thus, in order to study the migration intentions of the inhabitants of Primorsky Krai, we decided to conduct a qualitative study using a number of methods.

    The Unraveling of Russia's Far Eastern Power by Felix K. Chang n the early hours of September 1, 1983, a Soviet Su-15 fighter intercepted and shot down a Korean Airlines Boeing 747 after it had flown over the I Kamchatka Peninsula. All 269 passengers and crew perished. While the United Statescondemned the act as evident villainyand the Soviet Union upheld the act as frontier defense, the act itselfunderscored the militarystrength Moscow had assembled in its Far Eastern provinces. Even on the remote fringes of its empire, strong and responsive militaryforces stood ready. As has been the case for much of the twentieth century, East Asia respected the Soviet Union and Russialargely because of their militarymight-with the economics and politics of the Russian Far East (RFE) playing important but secondary roles. Hence, the precipitous decline in Russia's Far Eastern forces during the 1990s dealt a serious blow to the country's power and influence in East Asia. At the same time, the regional economy's abilityto support itsmilitaryinfrastructure dwindled. The strikes, blockades, and general lawlessness that have coursed through the RFE caused its foreign and domestic trade to plummet. Even natural resource extraction, still thought to be the region's potential savior, fell victim to bureaucratic, financial, and political obstacles. Worse still, food, heat, and electricityhave become scarce.
