Moreover, 3rd District has 1.18% or 1,684.00 hectares while1st and 2nd Districts have only 0.27% and 0.22% agricultural land, respectively (Figure 6.1). As presented in Table 6.1, the municipality of Maragondon has the biggest area intended for agriculture with 14.34% of the total agricultural area or 10,265.93 hectares followed by the municipalities of Silang having 9,431.83 hectares or 13.17% and Indang with 10.83% or 7,755 hectares. It is noted that the agricultural area was being worked by 43,058 farmers wherein 23,845 farmers came from 7th District. 116 Table 6.1.
