Month in Review… The LS Concert Band is excited for the opportunity to perform at the LS Winter Program on Thursday, December 21 at 9am in the Arts Center! The band is working hard on lively arrangements of My Favorite Things by Rogers and Hammerstein, Sugar Plum Swing by Mike Story, and Wayfaring Stranger by Mike Collins.

The Months Ahead… PLEASE SAVE THE DATE: Thursday, December 21 at 9am is our LS Winter Program. All children in grades 1 through 5 participate in this special event. Be sure to check the LS Family Handbook for specific concert attire information. Choir, band and orchestra will also be performing at the Lower School Spring Concert May and Final Assembly in June. Please check the calendar for the dates and times!

Month in Review… The after school Jazz Band Clubs did not hesitate to dive straight into Eye of The Tiger by Frankie Sullivan, Runaway Baby and Uptown by , Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes and You’ve Got A Friend In Me by Randy Newman! The Jazzers look forward to performances this year at GA’s Annual Jazz Cabaret, the Rowan University Jazz Festival, Lower School Spring Concert, and the Annual LS Jazz Assembly in May.

The Months Ahead… Important Upcoming Jazz Band Dates: The Jazz Band will perform at the Rowan University Jazz Festival on Wednesday, February 14, and GA’s Annual Jazz Cabaret on Sunday, February 25 at 3pm in the Dining Room.
