The Notice was published in the Worcester Telegram and the Eagle-Tribune on December 4, 2018, The Boston Globe and the Berkshire Eagle on December 5, 2018, and The Enterprise and The Inquirer and Mirror on December 6, 2018, all of which were no later than December 6, 2018. The Notice was published a second time in The Inquirer and Mirror on March 7, 2019, The Boston Globe and the Worcester Telegram on March 8, 2019, the Eagle-Tribune and the Berkshire Eagle on March 10, 2019, and The Enterprise on March 12, 2019, all of which were seven days prior to March 26, 2019. Tear sheets of the foregoing newspaper publications are attached. Copies of the Notice were served by email on December 6, 2018, and again by first class mail on December 11, 2018 to: (1) the mayors, the chairs of the boards of selectmen, and the city and town clerks of the cities and towns in the Company’s service territories along with a request that a copy of the Notice be posted in each city or town hall in the Companies’ service area; (2) the service list in Massachusetts Electric Company/Nantucket Electric Company, D.P.U. 15-155 (2016); and (3) any person who filed a request for notice with the Company. The exception to this distribution was first class mail distribution on December 6, 2018 to the towns of New Salem, North Brookfield, Royalston and the city of Newburyport, and first class mail distribution on December 7, 2018 to the towns of Mendon and Plainville, due to undeliverable email. In addition, within fourteen (14) days after November 29, 2018, the Company arranged for a copy of the Notice and the filing to be made available for viewing during regular business hours until further notice at the following locations: (1) Brockton Public Library, Main Library, 304 Main Street, Brockton, MA, 02301; (2) Nantucket Atheneum, 1 India St., Nantucket, MA 02554; (3) Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem Street, Worcester, MA, 01608; (4) Mason Public Library, 231 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA, 01230; and (5) Lawrence Public Library, 51 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA, 01841.
