Educational Technology & Education Conferences Educational Technology and Education Conferences for June to December 2015, Edition #33 Prepared by Clayton R. Wright, crwr77 at gmail.com, May 12, 2015 The 33rd edition of the conference list covers selected events that primarily focus on the use of technology in educational settings and on teaching, learning, and educational administration. Only listings until December 2015 are complete as dates, locations, or Internet addresses (URLs) were not available for a number of events held from January 2016 onward. In order to protect the privacy of individuals, only URLs are used in the listing as this enables readers of the list to obtain event information without submitting their e-mail addresses to anyone. A significant challenge during the assembly of this list is incomplete or conflicting information on websites and the lack of a link between conference websites from one year to the next. An explanation for the content and format of the list can be found at http://newsletter.alt.ac.uk/2011/08/why- distribute-documents-in-ms-word-or-openoffice-for-an-international-audience/. A Word or an OpenOffice format is used to enable people with limited or high-cost Internet access to find a conference that is congruent with their interests or obtain conference abstracts or proceedings. Consider using the “Find” tool under Microsoft Word’s “Edit” tab or similar tab in OpenOffice to locate the name of a particular conference, association, city, or country. If you enter the country “Singapore” in the “Find” tool, all conferences that occur in Singapore will be highlighted. Or, enter the word “research” or “assessment”. (Note that key words such as “research”, “assessment” or “MOOCs” may not be present in the conference title, yet these topics could be discussed during a particular conference.) Then, “cut and paste” a list of suitable events for your colleagues. Please note that events, dates, titles, and locations may change and some events may be cancelled. Thus, CHECK the specific conference website not only for basic information, but to assure yourself that the conference is legitimate. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This report details evaluative research on Balkan Diskurs Youth Correspondents Program conducted over 2017-18. Balkan Diskurs Youth Correspondents Program is run by Post Conflict Research Centre (PCRC), a peacebuilding organisation based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The evaluative research sought to explore how the program was experienced by the youth correspondent participants and whether (and how) it did or did not affect their attitudes towards reconciliation and capacity as young peace-builders and change makers. The evaluation was conducted by researchers working on the AHRC funded, Art & Reconciliation. Balkan Diskurs Youth Correspondents Program is shown to be a successful model for enabling youth-driven participatory media and peace-building by building the capacity, creativity and skills of young people identified as potential change-makers. Solidifying their positive attitudes towards inter-ethnic co-operation, reconciliation and inclusive society, the project amplified and extended the profiles and networks of its active participants as young peace-builders and media professionals. The Balkan Diskurs platform provides a unique space for young people to define, share and influence peace-building and civil society narratives and agendas. This report details the objectives of the evaluative research; the evaluation data complied and provides an analysis of the key findings on participant profiles, participation levels, outputs and participant perceptions of the project experience.

But more than a hundred years ago, the first tourists traveled the country, which at the time was under the reign of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The trip was organized by Thomas Cook & Sons Company of London, which was later transformed into the Hapag Lloyd. They also published the first «Tourist Guide to the country» in 1898. The two-week tour started at the border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Dobrljin including stops in Banja Luka, Jajce, Bugojno, Jablanica, Mostar, Sarajevo, Travnik, Doboj and Tuzla. The Berlin Tourist Office began offering similar trips shortly after. The historical charm of these cities remains and makes them worth visiting. Bosnia and Herzegovina is today connected to all European centers by air, and with thoroughfares in and out of Croatia.

This year, we are ready to present you 37 feature and short documentaries, finished in the last few months, 15 additional almost finished feature docs, waiting to see the world through your selector’s eyes and 17 documentaries in development, trying to find co-production partners. All together, almost 70 films from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Kosovo, from countries that are actively promoting their documentary production, gaining success at the festivals and receiving recognition for their work. I want to thank to the film centres, film agencies and our partners for making SEED up- and-running and more than anything to the tireless documentary filmmakers who are developing great ideas to the final art piece, ready for screening around the world.
