Points of On February 14 each year, sweethearts celebrate Valentine’s Day Interest: by exchanging cards, chocolates, and other tokens of love. But do these sweethearts know who they are celebrating? The true identity of St. Valentine is murky and there are differing stories detailing his role in the • February church and the acts that inspired the popular holiday bearing his name. Birthdays Competing stories depict St. Valentinus (the Latin version of the name) as either a priest from Rome or the Bishop of Terni during the reign of Emperor Claudius II. The judge asked Valentinus to prove the power of Christ by restoring the girl’s sight. He was again arrested and brought before Emperor Claudius II himself. When Valentine’s secret was discovered, Claudius executed him. These stories are different yet they both illustrate Valentine’s devotion to his faith and his people. As these legends spread, so did Valentine’s reputation for heroic love and devotion, inspiring a holiday dedicated to the ide- als he died for.

Overcomer (2019) Max High school basketball coach John Harrison and his team face an uncertain future when their town's largest manufacturing plant shuts down unexpectedly. His outlook soon changes when he meets Hannah Scott, an unlikely runner who pushes herself to the limit. Inspired by the words and prayers of a new friend, John starts to train Hannah for the biggest race of her young life.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) While truant from school, young siblings Jeremy and Jemima meet the beautiful Truly Scrumptious (Sally Ann Howes), who falls for their widowed father, Caractacus Potts (), and his various oddball inven- tions, including the family's noisy rebuilt car, . One day at the beach, Caractacus tells Truly and the children a fanciful fable about the villain- ous Baron Bomburst (Gert Frobe) and his evil designs on the Potts family car.

Chicken Little (2005) Young Chicken Little (Zach Braff) throws his small town into panic by claiming the sky is falling. Unable to find the piece of "sky" that hit him, he earns the town's scorn. A year later, outcast Little tries to redeem himself by joining the baseball team, helping to win a crucial game. Later that night he is hit on the head again and discovers that the "falling sky" is actually from a UFO. Now, Little must convince the skeptical town that an al- ien invasion is about to happen.

Jersey Boys (2014) In the 1960s, four scrappy young men from New Jersey -- Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Nick Massi, and Tommy DeVito -- have the magic sound that propels them from singing under streetlights to singing in spotlights. With songs like "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Walk Like a Man," the quartet finds itself at the top of the charts. However, personal and professional problems threaten to tear the group apart.
