SIDNEY NELSON JOSEPH LUTZ ARNOLD STANLEY 1928 - 2021 1929 ~ 2021 It is with great sadness that the family of Pastor Sidney Nelson, of Medicine Joseph Andrew Lutz passed away on Monday, May 31st, 2021 at the age HANSEN Hat, announces his death on Sunday May 30, 2021. As another pastime, she enrolled in organ lessons and practised playing hymns and old country songs. She looked forward to coffee time with her numerous friends. Throughout her life, she enjoyed and had a special love for children. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Grace (Harry) Lightfoot and two brothers, Errol (Lily) Cochrane and Robert Cochrane. Joe had countless stories to share about his days ‘riding the rails’ and these memories were held close to his heart. He was very proud of achieving #1 position of seniority as a conductor on Via Rail. Joe was active in Medicine Hat as a member of the Legion, Elks and the Moose. He had a role in establishing and then running the Moose fastball tournament for years IN LOVING and coached the Lionettes and Wren’s ladies fastball teams as well as the Moose Lark’s men’s fastball team. He was also involved with the CPR curling club, and ran the CPR pensioners banquet for 10 years. Joe spent two years on the city recreation board and at one point was approached to run for alderman, which he humbly declined. He dedicated much of his life to serving his community. Joe and Marylyn enjoyed travelling. They spent nine years wintering in Yuma, had many Montana camping trips and had the opportunity to vacation in Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Mexico with Joe’s favourite trip being to Atlantic Memory Canada. Joe was a social butterfly and he valued the relationships he made with people. He spoke his mind and he called a spade a spade.
