This culinary initiative is comprised of a series of fine cuisine outings on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 5:30- 7:30 PM November through December for the affordable price of $20 of which $5 is donated to Sister Carmen Community Center. “The Celebrity Chef Menu Series provides an affordable and delectable experience for those who are seeking a way to give back to the community while having a night out,” said Tess Murdock, Food & Beverage Manager at the course. “The dinners will provide an inviting setting where friends, couples and groups can enjoy a relaxing evening of fine food.” The first of the fundraising dinners will be held on Friday, November 9. For which, the culinary specialists at the clubhouse will be preparing Chef Christopher Kimball’s Chicken Cordon Blu with Dijon glazed carrots and Basil Potato Salad. Reservations for any of the dinner series events are politely requested by the grill staff and can be made by calling The Peaks Bar & Grill at 303.666.9597. Last year’s Celebrity Chef Menu Series which ran only on Friday nights only raised over $200 for Sister Carmen Community Center, a Lafayette non-profit family resource center. “We are thrilled to host this series again and believe that partnering with an organization such as Sister Carmen Community Center increases the awareness of folks who may not ever know about this incredible resource right here in Lafayette,” said Ms. Murdock.
