Voice Name List (PRODUCER.PCG) About the PRODUCER.PCG file PRODUCER.PCG contains a re-ordered version of the standard factory Programs. When shipped from the factory, the sounds are presented in a mixed order, so that incrementing through Programs might call up first a piano, then a pad, then a drum kit, and so on. This factory preset order is stored on the disk as the file PRELOAD.PCG. In the PRODUCER.PCG file, on the other hand, these same sounds are grouped by category. As you increment through the Programs, you'll find that all of the pianos are together, all of the pads are together, and so on. This lets you step through similar sounds by pressing INC and DEC, without using the Category window. The Combinations are still in the standard factory preset order, but have been edited so that they refer to the correct Programs. The arrangement of HD-1 and EXi banks is the same as in the standard factory order: HD-1 Programs are in banks INT-A through INT-E, and EXi programs are in banks INT-F, USER-C, USER-D, USER-E and USER-F. You can load the PRODUCER.PCG file from the CD named “Restore CD 1/4.” For a complete list of the Programs and their ordering, please see the file PRODUCER_VNL.PDF. All of the other sound data, such as Combinations, Drum Kits, and Wave Sequences, are the same as in the standard PRE- LOAD.PCG file. For more information about these sounds, please see the file VoiceNameList.pdf. Note: • PRODUCER.PCG requires the EXs1 ROM Expansion samples. Well fact is this is as good as you will ever likely get from any female singer anywhere…anytime. Since her last album Leslie has changed partners, with Amber Digby, would you believe. Amber’s partner, steel man Ricky Davis is now with Leslie and Randy Lindley, Lesley’s former husband is now Amber’s beau.

New and just in. Hillside Records Country Song Roundup $30 This is new recordings on the Hillside label with special guest and musical director in Justin Trevino. Justin is still on the Heart of Texas label and his 4 songs (of a very generous 21). I can’t say I have heard Kenny Seratt before but that is mainly through lack of material available more so than anything else but lo & behold if he doesn’t sound like Lefty, which is particularly weird on “Hank & Lefty Raised My Country Soul”!! He appears on 5 songs and none are less than sensational. What a voice!! Jerry Inman is also fine on three tracks. He was once voted the CMA’s Best Newcomer of the Year. Well he is close to the best on this. The remaining songs feature Curtis Potter, Darrell McCall and Ray Sanders in various trios, duos and solo spots. These are different to the “Texas Dance Hall Music” cd. Curtis Potter, who recorded a duet album on step One with Willie Nelson, is a superb Ray price style vocalist (as if I had to actually tell Y & T regulars) and is grand on “January, April & Me”.
