Janice Buckfast Abbey Saturday 7th May The next in Fr Christopher’s series of Quiet Days for 2016 takes place in the Violet Evelyn Hall in Southgate. The theme of this day is‘ Meeting ourselves in the parable of the Prodigal Son’. The day will run from 10.00am to 3.00pm and includes refreshments and a light lunch. As well as the talk and instruction by Fr Christopher, there is the opportunity for some group discussion, individual quiet time, Mass and Confession (if desired). Please pick up a form from the porch or from the parish office to book yourself a place. Brass For Greece Sidmouth Gospel Choir and the Exeter Fellowship Band will be performing at Friars Walk, Exeter next Saturday 7th May at 7.30pm. Tickets £5 are available by calling 01884 821653. Christian aid week commences on Sunday 15th May with a united service led by Martin Nicholls who was a Christian Aid worker in the South West. He has also travelled widely in the Middle East and in Ghana.
