    Marine Sanitation Device Discharge Regulations Effective: December 27, 2010 Activities prohibited Sanctuary-Wide: q Discharge of sewage incidental to vessel use and generated by a marine sanitation device in accordance with the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (also called the Clean Water Act). q Having a marine sanitation device that is not secured in a manner that prevents discharges or deposits of treated and untreated sewage.
