Kategorizace pomáhá jednotlivé díla charakterizovat a může sloužit jakozákladprojejichdalší studium.Druhým cílem práce je vytvoření praktickéhopříkladua reflexe celéhoprocesutvorby.Odpůvodníhonápadu,přes problémys realizací spojené až po konečnoupostprodukci,která dala vznikout finální podobě díla. Všechny tyto pojmy označují krátký film, či video,jenž doprovází jedenkompletní hudební kus.Za poslední dvě dekádydošlokobrovské popularizaci a rozšíření tohotomédia.Převážně díkyMTV se z videoklipustal fenoném,jenž se postupně rozšířil doceléhosvěta.Dnes je již běžné,že téměř každá kapela,nebointerpret ke svým písním natáčí videoklipy. A to se netýká jen hudebních těles zaštítěných velkými nahrávacími společnostmi. S nástupem tzv.„Nové vlny“ a kultury„doit yourself“ se médium hudebníhovidea rožšírilosnaddovšechhudebníchžánrůa vsoučasnosti již není vpodstatě pro kohokoliv problém natočit vlastní klip. Žánr se díky tomuto masovému rozšíření začal značně rozmělňovat a dnes již není příliš jasné co je vlastně ještě hudební video (velmi oblíbené je spojení videa vytvořenéhoz japonskýchanimé seriálůzkombinovanýchs různými písněmi).V této práci se ovšem spíše než těmtookrajovým žánrům,které už s videoklipem takjakjej zde chápunemají příliš společného,věnuji klasické podobě hudebníhovidea,jenž vzniklaněkdykolem80.letminuléhostoletí. Cílem této práce není reflektovat celou problematiku hudebního videa. Spíše je jen snahou o lehký náhled do tématu, který může sloužit jako podnětem pro další, hlubší studium. Kompromisní je práce také vtom,že stojí někde na pomezí mezi prací teoretickou a praktickou.Prvním nosným tématem,jemuž se věnuji je historie vývoje videoklipu.Počátky vznikuvideoklipuvidím vdobách, kdyexperimentys obrazem a zvukem neměli s naší dnešní představou o hudebním videu nic společného. Následný vývoj ovšem značným způsobem ovlivnily a pomohly jej nasměrovat k naší dnešní představě o videoklipu. Kromě výčtu důležitýchdat a jmenje mousnahouna několika významnýchdílechté dobyukázat způsob jakým se způsob produkce a náhledna hudební videoměnil.Samozřejmě není možné úplně vynechat dva největší fenomény,jenž jsoudnes s videoklipem spojovány.Konečné stránky věnujícísehistoriivývoje jsouprotověnoványMTVaYouTube. Mým vlastním příspěvkem ktématuje vytvoření kategorizace videoklipu.Na základě vlastního pozorování jsem se pokusil vytvořit teoretické „škatulky“, do kterých je možné jednotlivéklipyvzhledemkjejichvizuálnímuzpracovánířadit. Celá moje teoretická práce mi potom měla sloužit jako základ pro ztvárnění praktickéhovýstupu,jímž je hudební video promoji kapelu Hechitera. Další část práce tedy 7 kompletněrefletkuje celýprocestvorbysesnahouinterpretovat použité výrazové prostředkya postupy. 8 2 Historie 2.1Rannépočátky Úplně prvním tvůrcem, který si začal pohrávat s myšlenkou spojování muziky avizuální stránky byl Alexandr Scrabin. Inspirovaný stavem zvaným „synesthesia“ (dva nebo více lidských smyslůse spojují dohromady) začal experimentovat se spojením jednotlivýchtónů surčitými barvami. Jeho práce měla vyústit velkým opusem nazvaným Mystérium, což vlastně mohla být první multimediální performance.Scrabin se snažil o spojení: hudby,čichu, tance a světla. Dílo na kterém pracoval od roku 1903 ovšem zůstalo nedokončeno, jelikož Scrabinvroce1915zemřel. Nešlo však o jeho ojedinělý pokus na tomto poli. Do historie se zapsal i díky kusu nazvaném: Prometheus: The Poem of Fire.Tentoopus obsahuje část napsanoupro "clavier à lumières“ (hudební nástroj, který Scrabin vynalezl – klavír, kde noty korespondovaly s barvami).Hrálose na něj jakona piáno,ale spíše než na hudbubyl kladendůraz na barevné světlo,které bylovkoncertníhale promítánona plátno.     Online Hate and Harmful Content In times of ever-increasing changes in technology and online socio-cultural trends, there is a constant and pressing need for updated knowledge. This book provides the most up-to-date study of online hate speech and harms associated with the Internet. By presenting ground-breaking comparative research and intro- ducing new concepts such as Identity Bubble Reinforcement, it breaks new ground both empirically and theoretically. Sveinung Sandberg, Professor, University of Oslo Over the past few decades, various types of hate material have caused increasing concern. Today, the scope of hate is wider than ever, as easy and often-anonymous access to an enormous amount of online content has opened the Internet up to both use and abuse. By providing possibilities for inexpensive and instantaneous access without ties to geographic location or a user identification system, the Internet has permitted hate groups and individuals espousing hate to transmit their ideas to a worldwide audience. Online Hate and Harmful Content focuses on the role of potentially harmful online content, particularly among young people. This focus is explored through two approaches: first, the commonality of online hate through cross-national survey statistics. This includes a discussion of the various implications of online hate for young people in terms of, for example, subjective wellbeing, trust, self- image and social relationships. Second, the book examines theoretical frame- works from the fields of sociology, social psychology and criminology that are useful for understanding online behaviour and online victimisation. Limitations of past theory are assessed and complemented with a novel theoretical model linking past work to the online environment as it exists today.

Makay, Advisor The purpose of this study is to use rhetorical criticism as a means of examining how Blacks are depicted in the lyrics of popular songs, particularly hip-hop music. This study provides a rhetorical analysis of 40 popular songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles Charts from 1999 to 2006. The songs were selected from the Billboard charts, which were accessible to me as a paid subscriber of Napster. The rhetorical analysis of these songs will be bolstered through the use of Black feminist/critical theories. This study will extend previous research regarding the rhetoric of song. It also will identify some of the shared themes in music produced by Blacks, particularly the genre commonly referred to as hip-hop music. This analysis builds upon the idea that the majority of hip-hop music produced and performed by Black recording artists reinforces racial stereotypes, and thus, hegemony. The study supports the concept of which bell hooks (1981) frequently refers to as white supremacist capitalist patriarchy and what Hill-Collins (2000) refers to as the hegemonic domain. The analysis also provides a framework for analyzing the themes of popular songs across genres. The genres ultimately are viewed through the gaze of race and gender because Black male recording artists perform the majority of hip-hop songs.

The first documented instance of music censorship was after the Civil War. Pro-southern songs were banned during Reconstruction because the US government thought that they would stir up revolution and pro- Southern feelings.1 After that, the menace was jazz, whose swinging beat was thought to be corrupting to white youth. Moments such as these, irreverent and envelope-pushing, defined television in the 1990s. It was an era of hands-off regulation of the airwaves, and as the decade ended, all signs indicated that the era would continue. "I don't believe that government should be your nanny," uttered Michael K. Powell, the newly-appointed chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), in 2001.1 Broadcasters, whose exercise of editorial autonomy was lucrative indeed, and those viewers who found television's most controversial moments to be those most enjoyable, breathed a sigh of relief. While not suggesting that the above are moments of great artistic significance, moments such as these pass over the broadcast airwaves into living rooms so to create a virtual national community.

By investigating the social and legal development of obscenity in US culture, I argue that the contemporary duality in obscenity censorship standards arose from a family of forces consisting of faith, economy, and identity in early American history.
