The one-way fare is 11.00 €. Roughly 30 minutes are needed to reach the Department of Energy. Get off the train at “Milano Bovisa-Politecnico” station (sometimes indicated as “Milano Nord Bovisa” on timetables). At Bovisa, leave the station, turn right and go down the stairs. The Department of Energy is the first building behind the parking lot, between a building currently under construction and a pink house. If you arrive at Terminal 2 Exit the terminal and take the (free) shuttle bus connecting Terminal 2 with Terminal 1. You need roughly 5 minutes to move from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1. Once you are in Terminal 1, follow the instructions above. By car, about 1 hr drive is needed depending on traffic conditions From Linate Airport Get an ordinary ticket (1.50 €) from the ticket machine or at the news-stand and take the bus number 73 directed to San Babila (this is end of the line). Then, with the same ticket (which lasts 75 minutes), take the red line underground (linea M1), direction “Bisceglie” or “Rho Fiera”. At Milano Cadorna (http://www.trenord.it/EN/ ), leave the subway and go to the train station (2 minutes walk). Always with the same ticket, you can take all the trains except the one directed to Malpensa airport (always leaving from platform 1) and get off at the second stop: “Milano Bovisa-Politecnico” station. At Bovisa, leave the station, turn right and go down the stairs. Other hotels in the area are Hotel Valganna (www.hotelvalganna.com) and Radisson Blu Hotel (http://www.radissonblu.com/hotel-milan ). Alternatively, many hotels are available in the city center, for example close to Cadorna station, Porta Garibaldi or Porta Venezia, all well connected with Bovisa by the Suburban railway system. .

Among the things we are missing the most in our cities during the lockdown, one in particular remains a universal essential need: moving around. Although not immediate, the gradual reopening of the city is getting closer and closer. We will soon be able to move around again and integrate physical activity into our daily routines. Thus, it is more and more urgent to find solutions to adapt the city - particularly infrastructure and public spaces - to the new social distancing measures needed to coexist with the virus. This is a seemingly obvious, but unprecedented issue. Compliance with such measures will not be easy, especially when it comes to managing people's movements in densely populated cities like Milan. But in the coming months, mobility will have to change in an effort to find a new balance that manages the movements of people and ensures their protection from the risk of infection.

Among the main subsurface resources, a strong interaction between underground infrastructures and groundwater has emerged in many urban areas in the last few decades. Thus, listing the underground infrastructures is necessary to structure an urban conceptual model for groundwater management needs. Starting from a municipal cartography (Open Data), thus making the procedure replicable, a GIS methodology was proposed to gather all the underground infrastructures into an updatable 3D geodatabase (GDB) for the metropolitan city of Milan (Northern Italy). The underground volumes occupied by three categories of infrastructures were included in the GDB: (a) private car parks, (b) public car parks and (c) subway lines and stations. The application of the GDB allowed estimating the volumes lying below groundwater table in four periods, detected as groundwater minimums or maximums from the piezometric trend reconstructions.
