It is anticipated that a greater number of Flight Data Analysis Programs will lead to significantly greater safety levels through analysis of critical event sets and incidents. Action: The FDAP working group is requesting support for greater implementation of FDAP/FDMP throughout the Pan American Regions and consideration of new ICAO standards through the actions outlined in Section 4 of this working paper. Detailed Monthly information for the month of April, 2020 Important Policy decisions taken and major achievements during the month: 1. MINISTRY OF CIVIL AVIATION A. 'Lifeline Udan' flights are being operated by MoCA to transport essential medical cargo to remote parts of the country to support India’s fight against COVID-19. The essential cargo includes reagents, enzymes, medical equipment, testing kits, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), masks, gloves and other accessories required by Corona Warriors across the country. The status of 'Lifeline Udan' initiatve as on 30th April 2020 is attached as Annexure-I. B. Domestic and international aviation cargo/supply chains were strengthened by announcing measures for ease of doing business during unprecedented lockdown conditions across the entire supply chains extending from shipper, airline carriers, ground-handlers, airports, customs brokers/agents, and surface logistics. These included 50% waiver of demurrage to incentivise the removal of non-essential air cargo from airports, extensions of permits/approvals beyond 31 March 2020 (year-closing), deferral of IATA payments for cargo agents, etc. Some other notable actions are: (i) Taking up regulatory measures through DGCA, BCAS, AAI, AAICLAS, etc. to encourage domestic airline carriers to take up all-cargo flights by converting some of their grounded passenger aircraft. (ii) Setting up door-to-door deliveries through air cargo mode with monitoring and follow through for the following: Reagents, medical kits, etc. to/from ICMR and path labs -

About Author Justice Khilji Arif Hussain was born on April 13, 1949 and enrolled as an Advocate on 15-11-1976. He was enrolled as Advocate of High Court on 20-06-1978 and as Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan in the year 1993. He was elected as Joint Secretary, High Court Bar Association in the year 1984-85, Secretary in the year 1987-89, 1992-93, 1993-94. Elected as Member of Pakistan Bar Council for the term 1995-2000 and as Chairman Executive Committee of PBC in the year 1997. Justice Khilji Arif Hussain was elevated as Judge of High Court of Sindh on 27-08-2002. In November 2007 he refused to take oath under Provisional Constitution Order. He was elevated as Judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan on 05-09-2009 and retired on 12- 04-2014. As speaker e attended number of workshops, seminars and training programmes where Judges of District Judiciary were sensitize about Gender and Religion Biases, Case Management etc. Recognizing his services as Judge of Superior Courts, he was appointed as Adhoc Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on 15-12-2015 for one year.
