Beginning Bridge, Part II - Mary 8 Thurs., Dec. 12–19 and Jan. 9-Feb 20 10 a.m.-noon, $96 (no class Jan. 16) This class is a continuation of the fall beginners' class: the focus is building on your fundamental skills. Anyone wishing to add to or improve basic skills will benefit from this class. Mary, who has taught bridge to college students and assisted in teaching duplicate bridge, will introduce you to the fun of bridge as it is played now. Limit: 16

Coached Play - Mary and Lisette 10 Tuesdays, Dec. 3-17and Jan. 7–Feb.18 10 a.m.–noon, $120

This class is for those who have basic bridge knowledge and want to strengthen and expand their game. There will be lots of play, reinforcement of standard American yellow card conventions (SAYC), exploration of modern bidding, declarer play and defense.

Continuing Duplicate Bridge - Lisette 10 Tuesdays, Dec. 3—17 and Jan 7– Feb18 10Tuesdays, 12:30-2:30, $120

This class is for the intermediate bridge player who has played Duplicate Bridge or taken Lisette’s classes and who wants reinforcement of commonly used Two Over One Systems. Class will play pre-dealt hands during the lessons; sessions include time for free play and questions. Limit:12

Continuing Two Over One - Judie 8 Wed., 12/11-18; 1/8-2/12, 12:45–2:45 p.m., $80 This session we will review the basics covered in the fall classes and move on to discuss 1D/2C auctions, how to handle interference, special jumps and slam bidding. Prerequisite: Fall 2019 2/1 class Limit: 16

Marathon Mahjongg Thursday, Jan 16, 11 a.m.—3 p.m., $10 (cash) Play Mahjongg til you drop! We will play from 11 a.m.–1 p.m., break for lunch and then continue to play until 3 pm. We will order wraps, salads and drinks. All levels are welcome. Meet other Mahjongg players, win prizes and have fun! Bring your friends and if you have a Mah Jongg set, bring that too. Limit: 32.
