In more recent times the Cups and Balls has had a revival back onto the streets and is the featured effect by many of magic’s leading street performers. Although he has not personally met them all, he is known . This is due in great part to his skill as an excellent Communicator.     Anthony Darkstone Brook In Conversation With Walter Blaney The following article was written way back in 2002 and as the saying goes, it has, “withstood the test of time” . Since then, Rory Johnson, who wrote an article on Walter for MAGIC magazine used this article as a basis for his feature. In 2008, I was greatly honored when at the Texas Association of Magicians Convention, I was invited to Produce & Host a Live Talk Show with Walter as the main guest. Other guests on my show were Trixie Bond, Scott Wells, MarcoM, Chuck Lehr , Bruce Kalver , Frances Willard, Glen Falkenstien, Bill Palmer, Walter’s daughters Beck Blaney, Dr.Carol Blaney and Gold Medal Champion Shannon Blaney.
