New (A) A = Athletic D = Distinguished ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME HISTORY Lindsey Dorko The Perry Pirate Booster Club authorized the formation of a Hall of Fame Committee to honor Perry Athletes by developing a process to create an Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame. In March of 1992, Perry Local Schools’ Board of Education authorized the concept of the Perry Pirate Booster Club. The Club selected a committee and developed the guidelines for how the Hall of Fame would be established. The policies and procedures were approved by the Booster Club in the spring of 1992. A committee and public nomination procedure was put into place during CLASS OF 2005 the fall of 1992. In January of 1993, 65 individuals qualified to be placed on a ballot for voting by the committee. Ray was a three-year letterman and Kevin Siegel was a three-time letterman in Football and a team Captain for the Perry Football program his senior year. That Basketball .
