HAYDN RAWSTRON LIMITED Ramaz Chikviladze’s recent performances include Timur at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, Bonzo in Madama Butterfly the Opéra de Nice, as well as Kochubey in Tchaikovksy’s Mazeppa at the Latvian National Opera Riga, the Priest Fotis in A Greek Passion and Timur at both the Teatro Massimo Palermo and the Opéra de Monte Carlo, Sparafucile at the Teatro Massimo Bellini Catania, the title role in Boito's Mefistofele and Silva in Ernani in Tel Aviv, Dikoj in Katya Kabanova at the Stuttgart State Opera, Colline in Malmö, Farfarello in Florence, The King in Aida at the St Margarethen Summer Festival, Il Commendatore in Wuppertal, Bonzo at the Opera de Lille and the Grand Théâtre in Luxembourg and Geronte in Manon Lescaut in Essen. The coming season Ramaz Chikviladze includes performances of Bartolo in Il barbiere di Siviglia in Bonn, Nabucco at the Teatro Bass Pergolesi in Jesi and Wurm in Luisa Miller at the Hamburg State Opera. Between 2008 to 2013 he was a member of the ensemble at the Oper Bonn, where his repertoire included roles such as Sarastro, Osmin and Landgraf Herrmann, as well as Nilakantha in Lakmé, Dulcamara, Oroveso, Bartolo in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Leporello. Ramaz Chikviladze studied at the conservatory in his hometown Tbilisi, Georgia, and made his debut as a professional singer in 1995, while still a student, at the Gorgian State Opera. In 2003 he joined the Young Opera Singer ensemble at the Bavarian State Opera Munich, and was engaged as a guest at the Festival Giovane in Pesaro and at the Israeli Opera Tel Aviv. From 2005 to 2008 Ramaz Chikviladze was a member of the ensemble at the Dortmund Theatre. TURANDOT Cast Biographies Soprano Martina Serafin (Turandot) made her San Francisco Opera debut as the Marshallin in Der Rosenkavalier in 2007. Things to do in Palermo Palermo is the regional capital of Sicily, which is the largest and most heavily populated (about 5,000,000) island in the Mediterranean. The area has been under numerous dominators over the centuries, including Roman, Carthaginian, Byzantine, Greek, Arab, Norman, Swabian and Spanish masters. Due to this past and to the cultural exchange that for millennia has taken place in the area, the city is still an exotic mixture of many cultures. Many of the monuments still exist and are giving the city an unique appearance. The city of Palermo, including the province of Palermo, has around 1,300,000 inhabitants and has about 200 Km of coastline. The old town of Palermo is one of the largest in Europe, full of references to the past. Palermo reflects the diverse history of the region in that the city contains many masterpieces from different periods, including romanesche, gothic, renaissance and baroque architecture as well as examples of modern art. The city also hosts it's rich vegetation of palm trees, prickly pears, bananas, lemon trees and so on. The abundance of exotic species was also noticed by the world- famous German writer Goethe who in April 1787 visited the newly opened botanical gardens, describing them as "the most beautiful place on earth". The Concerto in Sol by Ravel is scheduled in the program. (Bands Federation Sicilian) is pleased to present the "1st Horn Festival of Volcano Etna" born from the idea of stimulating young horn players to deepen the study of the horn with individual and group lessons of ensemble music .. The festival will take place from 1st al August 5, 2016 at the district "VINEYARDS" in Santa Maria di Licodia: a large building in a magnificent setting that is the landscape of the Etna in a pristine place where the sound of the horn will star Each participant will be given the opportunity every day to do lessons with 4 teachers of national and international fame collaborating with major orchestras and institutions. Graziano ribadisce che l’assegnazione a titolo di complesso strumentale avviene solo per il 2015. La Commissione prende atto”. Ora, sarebbe interessante vedere il grado di autonomia della Commissione che il 30 marzo 2015 riconosce la Verdi come ICO, che prende atto che il Ministero ha chiesto a laVerdi, dopo il decreto del Ministro in data 1 aprile 2015, di formulare la domanda come ICO e che il 1 luglio viene “declassata” a complesso strumentale con l’affermazione che tale situazione vale solo per il 2015.
