NPS Mountain and Moorland Qualifying Rounds Breed Show Rules: These classes are judged under the Rules of the NPS. Ponies must be registered in the main body of their respective Mountain & Moorland Stud Books. Part breds are not eligible. Qualifying rounds for most NPS competitions are open to ponies owned by NPS members and non-members at Breed Shows ponies can qualify for the final even if their owners are not NPS members. The owner of a qualified pony must become a member to enter the finals. The highest placed pony, in each class will qualify for the final. RULES 1. In the event of two or less entries in any one Class, Classes will be cancelled, Exhibitors notified as soon after the closing date of entry as possible, and their fees will be returned. 2. In the Ridden Section, however such classes will be amalgamated, and Exhibitors will be notified as soon after the closing date of entries. 3. Only animals entered for the Show are allowed on the Show Field. 4. All Riders must wear hard hat. 5. The Welsh Pony and Cob Society rules apply for Ridden section. 6. The Welsh Pony and Cob Society rules and regulations apply for the Silver Medal and Performance Medal award. 7. All colts, 3 years old and over must be shown with a Bit. 8. All entries must be registered or eligible for registration in the Welsh Stud book. 9. For any Class that provides an excessive number of entries forward, the judges will be under no obligation to place an undetermined number of exhibits that fall short of a required standard. 10. Ministry of Agriculture’s licences of W.P.C.S. Veterinary Certificate/Licences should be available for inspection on Show Day. 11. Weight of Shoes of Welsh Cobs should be as stipulated by W.P.C.S. 12.The Organisers shall not be responsible for anything that may happen, through accident or otherwise to any exhibitor or article brought to the Show Ground. 13. All dogs to be kept on leads at all times. 14.The Show President and any Judge will not be allowed to exhibit at the Show.
