Saving Denman: an evening tasting recipes from our past, hosted by County Archivist Helen Palmer and Legal Historian Richard Ireland Old Town Hall Aberystwyth, Friday 22nd July, 7 p.m. Proceeds in aid of Denman Appeal. £5. ACWW Triennial Conference University of Warwick, 18-20August 2016. Please give any crafts to Bethan Williams (Wig and District WI) before the conference. There will be a craft stall at the conference so we would be very grateful for any contributions. Proceeds will go the ACWW.

Resolutions 2016: ‘Appropriate Care in hospitals for people with dementia’ was carried with a 79.4% majority; Avoid Food Waste, address poverty’ was passed with a 82.7% majority.

WI News: Cenarth WI is hosting an evening with Brian John, author of the Angel Mountain saga books on Sep- tember 8th. This will be an open evening at the cost of £3 each including refreshments. For further information please contact Secretary Wendy Nightingale.
