TENDER NOTICE Sealed item rate tenders are invited by Asst. General Manager Engg. (Elect), AAI, Tezpur Airport, Tezpur, Assam-784001 on behalf of Chairman, AAI from the enlisted contractors of appropriate class of CPWD/MES/P&T/State PWD/Railways/ PSU's who have carried to similar work for the work of “Electrification of Dog Kennel at Tezpur Airport” for an estimated cost of Rs.5,71,334/-. Time allowed Two (02) Months. Tenders will be issued upto 27.06.2014, received till 09.07.2014 upto 15:00 Hrs and opened on the same day at 15:30 Hrs. Tender forms will be issued to those contractors who produce certificate from clients of having satisfactorily completed (Phase/Part completion of the scope of work in a contract shall not be considered) at least three works, each of Rs.2,28,534/- of Estimated Cost or two works, each of Rs 2,85,667/- of Estimated Cost or one work of Rs 4,57,067/- of Estimated Cost of similar nature of work of during the last seven years ending on 31st May 2014. (Firms showing work experience certificate from Non Government/ Non PSU Organizations should submit 'Tax Deduction at Source certificate' in support of their claim for having experience of stipulated value of works), Produce proof of annualised average financial turn-over of Rs. 1,71,400/- during the last three years ending 31st March, of previous financial year. Application for issue of tender document shall be submitted to Asst. General Manager (Engg.-Elect.), AAI, Lilabari Airport, North Lakhimpur, Assam-787051 up to 20.06.2014 on all working days along with Tender fee of Rs. 565.00 (Non refundable) in the form of Demand Draft (of Nationalised or Schedule Bank but not from co-operative or Grameen Bank) drawn in favour of Airports Authority of India, payable at Guwahati Airport. The application shall be supported with self attested copies of valid Registration (Trade license including Electrical license), Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Client certificate for experience indicating date of completion as per agreement and actual date of completion of work, Tendered amount, Actual completion cost and satisfactory completion with Work order and Schedule of quantities. The financial turnover should be supported with annual report (abridge balance sheet and profit & loss account) and documentary proof of owning, leasing and possessing required machinery and T&P shall be submitted. “If at any stage, any information/documents submitted by the applicant is found to be false, the agency shall be liable for debarment from tendering in AAI, apart from any other appropriate/legal action”. Purchase preference to Central Public Sector Undertaking shall be applicable as per the directive Govt. of India prevalent on the date of acceptance. In case tender is to be sent through post, an envelope of size not less than 15'' x 12'' with Rs. 200.00 postage stamp affixed on the envelope with address along with application. AAI shall not be responsible for delay in postal delivery. AAI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason. AAI also reserves the right to disallow issue of tender document to working agencies whose performance at ongoing project(s) is below par and unusually poor. Asstt.
