BEAU-VEMBER: Third year forward Anthony Beauvillier recorded his first-career hat trick and added an assist for a career-high four-point night in Thursday’s win over the Rangers. Beauvillier, 21, became the second youngest player in the NHL this season to record a hat trick (Laine, WPG). The Sorel-Tracy, QC native is the first Islander to record a hat trick this season and first to do it against the Rangers since 2011.

BARRY TROTZ: Islanders Head Coach, Barry Trotz is both the winningest (772 wins) and most experienced (1542 games) active NHL coach. Trotz’s NHL record is 772-574-60-136 in 1,540 games. Trotz is 10 wins behind long-time Islanders Head Coach Al Arbour (782) on the NHL all- time wins list.
