From the South: Leave the M6 at Junction 19 and follow the A556 towards Altrincham. This will lead you onto the A56 towards Manchester. Keep on the A56 for six miles and you will see pass Castle More Retail Park on your left. Bear left after the retail park and take the second left onto Trafford Rd and left again onto Victoria Place. Victoria Warehouse, which is the big red building, will be on your left-hand side. (If you pass the Silver “Trafford Park” sign and large iron Hook and Chain Sculpture, you have missed the turn in.) As you drive down Victoria Place you will see the “Hilti” Car park on your right-hand side. The Hotel Football Car park is just after.
From the North: Leave the M6 at Junction 30 and take the M61 towards Bolton. At the end of the M61, join the M60. Leave the M60 at Junction 9 and follow the A5081 towards Manchester. After about two miles you’ll be approaching the Old Trafford Stadium and Hotel Football on your right. Continue driving passed the Hotel and bear left ready to turn at the next set of traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn left and left again onto Victoria Place. Victoria Warehouse, which is the big red building, will be on your left- hand side. From The West: Follow M56 until its end and then take the M60 (W&N) as for Trafford Centre. At Junction 7 leave M60 and take the A56 towards Stretford. Metro Link
Trams operate on a regular basis from Bury (North Manchester), Altrincham (South Manchester), and from the city centre and Deansgate-Catslefied. There is a connecting service to Salford Quays, Eccles and Manchester Airport all via Cornbrook. Metro link is also connected to both mainline railway stations Piccadilly & Victoria and runs to Old Trafford Tram stop, just a 10 minute walk from the Hotel. Tickets are available from dispensers on all stations (both cash and card are accepted). From Victoria or Piccadilly Station
Take the Altrincham Tram from either Piccadilly or Victoria station which will reach the Old Trafford tram stop within around 10/15 minutes. Exit the tram stop towards Lancashire County Cricket Ground (The stadium directly in front of Old Trafford Tram Stop) and continue walking straight down the main road for around 8 minutes. As you approach Manchester United Football Stadium on your right-hand side, the Hotel will be directly in front of you.
From Manchester Airport
Recommended: There will be Taxis waiting outside the arrivals area of Manchester Airport. The cost of a taxi will be around £20.00 (It’s best to check the prices with the driver before getting into the Taxi). If you would like to book a taxi ahead of time, we would recommend Street Cars (local taxi form) who can be reached on 0161 228 7878.
Alternative: Otherwise you can take the Cornbrook Tram from Manchester Airport to Trafford Bar. You will then need to walk to the other side of the platform and take the Altrincham tram to Old Trafford (which is just one stop away). Exit The Old Trafford Tram Stop Exit the tram stop towards Lancashire County Cricket Ground (The stadium directly in front of Old Trafford Tram Stop) and continue walking straight down the main road for around 8 minutes. As you approach Manchester United Football Stadium on your right-hand side, the Hotel will be directly in front of you.
