Morning Service 9:00 A.M. 6SHFLÀFLQVWUXFWLRQVDUHWKHQJLYHQIRUEXLOGLQJWKHIXUQLVKLQJVRI :HHNO\3RUWLRQTerumah; Exodus 25:1 - 27:19 the Mishkan and the special tent that housed them. The Mishkan, as Haftarah:,.LQJV a whole, was meant to be a symbol, a portable Sinai, reminding the 6DEEDWK6HUYLFH2IÀFHUVDQG*UHHWHUV5HEHFFD)ULHGPDQ&KDUU\ Israelites on their journey through the wilderness of their unique Adam Covitt, Robert Lopatkin, and Susan Brustein experience at the mountain. The Mishkan evolved by way of the Havurah Service 10:00 A.M. Temple in Jerusalem into the synagogue, but the purpose remained Junior Congregation 10:30 A.M. the same. To this day, whenever we open the ark and look upon the Toddler Service 11:00 A.M. Torah scrolls, we stand again at Sinai.
