Head Coach • Maximum Term Contract (One plus One season, negotiable) • Remuneration negotiable (depends on experience, and suitability to the position) The Brydens Sydney Uni Flames are a founding member of the Women’s National Basketball League. During the past 16 years Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness (SUSF) has proudly owned and operated the Flames franchise. The club has a proud history of success having won 4 WNBL titles, most recently in 2017, reached 9 Grand Finals and played in many finals series. The club is also extremely proud to have assisted more than 20 players to play for their country including Karen Dalton, Trish Fallon, Belinda Snell and Katie-Rae Ebzery. The Brydens Sydney Uni Flames are one of the marquee female sporting programs at the University of Sydney. The club enjoys access to a Top 40 internationally regarded University and SUSF – the leading provider of University based elite sporting services in the Asia-Pacific region. The Brydens Sydney Uni Flames enjoy access to a purpose built $15 million basketball stadium right in the heart of the University campus. SUSF provides the team access to a plethora of high performance sporting facilities that includes a 50m swimming pool, high performance gym, professional strength & conditioning coaches, academic support and an on campus medical practice containing Medical Practitioners, Physiotherapists, and Massage Therapists. As an organization, one of our goals is to create elite performing teams within an environment that focuses on education and leadership in the pursuit of excellence. SUSF is looking for a suitably aligned individual to carry out the role of The Brydens Sydney Uni Flames Head Coach. The Brydens Sydney Uni Flames Head Coach reports to the SUSF High Performance Manager and is accountable for developing a culture which creates excellence on and off the court.
