MY ETERNAL DECISION

There is one important decision that each and every person must make some time in their life. The decision to accept JESUS CHRIST as your LORD and SAVIOR guarantees eternal life. No one knows when their life will end, so it is very important to make that decision before it is too late. The Bible very plainly tells us in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned”. Also, in Romans 6:23 COWBOYS FOR CHRIST we are told, “For the wages of sin is death”. This death actually is referring to eternal death. But the last part of Romans 6:23 reads, “But the gift of GOD is eternal life through JESUS FREE BIBLE TO POLICE CHRIST our LORD. Thank YOU, LORD! Thank YOU, LORD! Thank YOU, LORD especially since November is Thanksgiving. I know, there is certainly more to the month of November than just Thanksgiving Day. But since the Thanksgiving holiday is the most traveled in this nation and it is actually the most “family” holiday, then it sure is what you think of when you get close to the month of November. Also, those facts seem to make it a month-long issue of preparation for the special day, which to my way of thinking, makes November the Thanksgiving month. So, Happy Thanksgiving to each and everyone. I pray that you are greatly blessed and that you have a whole month of blessings and a whole mountain of things in which you are giving thanks and praise to the LORD. I know that I am so very, very thankful to be so very blessed to have horses to ride, friends to ride with and a whole saddle bag full of uncountable blessings. I can certainly say that “my cup runneth over” when I think of this wonderful ministry that the LORD has blessed me to be a part of; Cowboys For Christ. The joy of serving FATHER GOD, our LORD JESUS CHRIST, with the joyful presences of the HOLY SPIRIT in the cowboy world or wherever the LORD sends. The absolute joy of sharing the GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSEL OF JESUS CHRIST to anyone and everyone as we ride the trails of this life. Not to mention the many wonderful friends, leaders, workers and especially the ever-increasing army of committed and hard riding Chaplains that make up this “cowboy outreach ministry.” Are you thankful? Are you joyful? Are you blessed? I sure hope you are and I hope that you are greatly blessed and greatly joyful and greatly thankful and that you let the LORD know that HE has supplied you over abundantly. Giving thanks to THE FATHER for HIS bountiful provisions should be a daily routine and we should do it on bended knees. A thankful heart will be a joyful heart and a joyful heart will be a loving heart, and a loving heart will be a giving heart; and THE FATHER desires them all. So, in the month of Thanksgiving, this November, let your thanks be evident to others and especially to your HEAVENLY FATHER. Now as most of you cowboys and cowgirls know the “Thanksgiving” month of November is followed by December, which is the month of giving. December is the month of “giving” and I don’t mean just the giving of presents to loved ones or the giving of special gifts to our children or grandchildren. Because December is the month that we celebrate the birth of our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. HE is GOD’S ONE and ONLY SON and HE was given by THE FATHER to pay our sin debt. HE was born in a stables, only to go the cross to die as the perfect GIFT OF LOVE to sinful mankind. I don’t know about many of you folks, but I do know about this ole cowboy and I have a mountain of sins that I had no way of paying the penalty for those sins. You see, folks, FATHER GOD knew that I couldn’t pay that debt, so HE sent HIS ONLY SON to die on the cross to pay for each and every one, and not just for mine, but for the “sin of the world” “John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” and that means yours, too. Now, cowboys and cowgirls, that is a pretty good GIFT to give free to any and to all who will accept this wonderful GIFT as their SAVIOR and LORD. But that is the kind of HEAVENLY FATHER that we have, for HE is LOVING, GIVING, MERCIFUL and HOLY. HIS SON, our SAVIOR and LORD is also LOVING, GIVING, MERCIFUL and HOLY and we have the HOLY SPIRIT WHO was given to us when we accept JESUS CHRIST to guide us and carry us through the trials and stress of this life. Yes, that is the reason we need the whole month of November as a “thanksgiving” month to give thanks to THE FATHER, THE SON and THE HOLY SPIRIT for the GIFT that we celebrate in the month of December. So, get you knee pads on and give “thanks” during the whole month of November in preparation for the month of December the month of “giving.” Merry Christmas to each and every one and GOD bless you a bunch. Now, you may be asking why I have “this sinful world” in the title of this article. Well, I have added it because we are living in “this sinful world” or at least the ones that are reading this article are, and you need to know that the only way out of “this sinful world” is to accept JESUS CHRIST as your LORD and SAVIOR. THE FATHER has already given the GIFT of HIS SON. THE SON has already died on the cross and has risen, and is now seated at the right hand of THE FATHER in glory. So, it is now time for you to accept this wonderful GIFT of eternal salvation; HIS ONE AND ONLY SON. During these two months of “thanks” and “giving” you can confess that you are a sinner, believe that THE FATHER gave HIS SON, and accept HIS GIFT, JESUS CHRIST and know in your heart that you now are a child of the HOLY GOD. You will now have the HOLY SPIRIT to help you live your life for HIM. Please go to the DECISION section of this paper and pray the “prayer of salvation” and then give HIM “thanks” for “giving” the GIFT. GOD bless you, your families and your service to HIM. HAPPY THANKSGIVING and MERRY CHRISTMAS. In CHRIST, Page 8 * THE CHRISTIAN RANCHMAN * Nov / Dec 2020 Cowboys For Christ General Store
