To a cowboy there are a couple “Travelin’ Partners” that he must have: a good horse and a loyal dog. For the most part, a cowboy can make do if he has to with just those two Travelin’ Partners. No matter what wreck he gets in, a good horse will get him out. And no matter how bad he feels, or what’s broke, a good ol’ dog can make him smile. This was given to me at the graveside of a true cowboy. As the closing prayer was being said, in a cold drizzle, I looked out and there his horse and dog stood, staring at the wooden box that held their master’s body. Now, in, those two Travelin’ Partners who had gone as far as they could, God showed me the Trinity. The Father is the Master. The Son is the horse that hauled the sins of the world, and will come get us one day. The Holy Spirit is the dog. He will guide, guard and comfort along the trail of life. I pray this magazine makes the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit more reachable by folks in our culture, and helps unify His Body as we come to know one another better.

Most wear boots, jeans, a cowboy hat, and listen to country music. They value honesty, integrity, and authenticity. NCCN plants have been started in Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Washington, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, and Arkansas. The Gospel is preached and baptisms are done in horse tanks.     Happy Trails Cowboy Church Taylorsville, North Carolina Press Release Information April 13, 2010 Professional Rodeo is returning to Taylorsville, NC. Happy Trails Cowboy Church and H & H Indoor Arena will host their 7th Annual Professional Rodeo in Taylorsville, NC May 14th & 15th. The rodeo is sanctioned by the Southern Rodeo Association (SRA) and International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA). Events include Bareback Bronc riding, Saddleback Bronc riding, Calf roping, Cowgirl’s break-away calf roping, Steer wrestling, Team roping, Cowgirl’s barrel racing, and Bull riding. Contestants from all over the eastern seaboard will be competing for points as they chase the coveted championships. Two great performances will be held on Friday & Saturday, M a y 1 4th & 15th. Gates open at 5pm. Country Gospel singing will be provided both nights beginning at 7pm (one hour prior to the rodeo action) featuring Donny Riggs of Knoxville, Tennessee (www.dcriggs.net).
