General Catalog While reasonable eff ort will be made to publicize changes, students are encouraged to seek current information from appropriate offi ces because it is the responsibility of the student to know and observe all applicable regulations and procedures. No regulation will be waived or exception granted because students plead ignorance of, or contend that they were not informed of, the regulations or procedures. Questions on regulations and their interpretation should be addressed to the offi ce or college in which the student’s major department is located. Th e University reserves the right to eff ect changes without notice or obligation including the right to discontinue a course or group of courses or a degree program. although the University attempts to accommodate the course requests of students, course off erings may be limited by fi nancial, space, and staffi ng considerations or may otherwise be unavailable. students are strongly encouraged to schedule an appointment with their advisor at least once each quarter, preferably before registering for the succeeding term. Financial Support Th e University draws its fi nancial support from tuition, fees, endowments, gifts, and grants; it is entirely independent of any government body, religious order, or fraternal organization.
