3. Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives.

Entercom Kansas City offers internships at the radio stations in our Promotions and Programming departments. Interns must be college students Periodically Director of Programming Entercom and receive college credit for the internships. The Promotions Directors and 1 Internship Program throughout the Promotions Director Kansas City the Programming Directors oversee the internships to evaluate the interns and year Business Manager ensure they are receiving information and education. Internships are ongoing throughout the year.

Entercom Kansas City airs recruitment advertisements on all stations, seeking On-Air EEO Policy and Periodically Entercom applicants across all departments. Advertisements inform the Kansas City Traffic Managers 2 Invitation to Receive Job throughout the Kansas City area of Entercom’s EOE policy and invite all organizations to be a part of our Production Directors Openings year recruitment process.

Periodically Managers are trained regarding EEO compliance rules, and are given forms Entercom EEO Administrator 3 Manager EEO Training throughout the and policy memos. All Department heads are expected to adhere to the EEO Kansas City Department Heads year rules and complete all necessary EEO paperwork for each new hire.

The Kansas City Association of Broadcasters provides communication, Periodically Different Kansas Association of recruiting, education and training for Kansas City broadcasters. They also 4 throughout the member Market Manager Broadcasters (KAB) promote free over-the-air broadcasting for enhancing the success of Kansas year locations City broadcasters and helping them better serve the people of Kansas.

The Missouri Broadcasters Association promotes the success and prosperity of the broadcasting industry by representing the members' points of view in Periodically Different Missouri Broadcasters the legislative and regulatory process in pertinent branches of State and 5 throughout the member Market Manager Association (MBA) Federal government. They serve as a resource for training, revenue year locations expansion, cost containment and information on evolving governmental policies.

An Entercom Engineer led a class from Joel Nichols “Introduction to Johnson County Broadcasting” class on a tour of our stations. Students toured the production Engineer Community College February 2, Entercom rooms, control rooms, news & technical areas, and discussed opportunities in On-Air Talent 7 Communications Class 2018 Kansas City broadcasting. Personnel from News, Production and Programming also News Staff Tour assisted with the tour and discussion. Seven students attended along with Production Staff their instructor.

High School Students from Olathe South visited Entercom Kansas City to Creative Services Director Olathe South High Entercom meet with station news and programming personnel to discuss interview styles 8 April 12, 2018 On-Air Talent School Group Tour Kansas City and the commercial production processes. The group of 12 students and 1 Program Directors adult toured the on-air studios and production areas.

The Women’s Employment Network hosted the KC Job Fair at Sheraton KC Spring Job Fair / Crown Center. Entercom Kansas City was one of the sponsors of the event Business Manager Kansas City 9 Women’s Employment May 3, 2018 and broadcasted promotional announcements. Approximately 1,000 people Account Manager MO Network attended this event. Members of the management team met with over 100 Digital Sales Manager potential candidates.

Sixth grade students from Rushton’s Broadcast & Podcast class visited Creative Services Director Rushton School Field Entercom Entercom KC to meet with station news and programming personnel to Program Directors 10 May 7, 2018 Trip Kansas City discuss interview styles and the commercial production processes. The group On-Air Talent of 14 students and 2 adults toured the on-air studios and production areas. Executive Assistant/EEO Officer

Two one hour lectures were given to Army personnel regarding the basics of radio audio recording. Topics included Radio usage in the US vs. other Program Director U.S. Army Operations Entercom 11 May 8, 2018 countries; radio & tv programming in target areas; content creation Production Manager Qualifications Course Kansas City suggestions, identifying local talent and the importance of social media On-Air Talent platforms. Approx. 50-60 military personnel attended.

The Missouri Broadcasters Association’s Radio Talent Institute program is a ten day radio immersion program bringing talented broadcasting students together with broadcast professionals to help them prepare for radio careers. Program Directors Missouri Broadcasters Students must apply and be accepted into the program. Entercom staff spoke Assistant Program Director 12 Association Radio Talent August 7, 2018 Maryville, MO on a variety of topics including News Radio & Delivery, On-Air Presentation Music Director Institute and Social Media Involvement. Staff also spoke to students individually On-Air Talent regarding internships and job openings. Approximately 30 students were accepted into the Radio Talent Institute.
