Each vacancy at the Employment Unit, including upper-level category openings, is posted on the sites of organizations that are members of the Periodically DirectEmployers Association Job Syndication Alliance. Members of the DirectEmployers Entercom 2 throughout the Alliance include organizations whose membership includes participation of EEO Coordinator Association Kansas City year women and minorities, veterans and military families, government agencies, as well as other job candidates that might not be aware of employment opportunities in broadcasting. Entercom Kansas City offers internships at the radio stations in our Promotions and Programming departments. Interns must be college students Periodically Director of Programming Entercom and receive college credit for the internships. The Promotions Directors and 3 Internship Program throughout the Promotions Director Kansas City the Programming Directors oversee the internships to evaluate the interns and year Business Manager ensure they are receiving information and education. An Entercom Production Assistant led a class from Joel Nichols “Introduction Johnson County to Broadcasting” class on a tour of our stations. Students toured the On-Air Talent Community College February 12, Entercom production rooms, control rooms, news & technical areas, and discussed 8 News Staff Communications Class 2019 Kansas City opportunities in broadcasting. Personnel from News, Production and Production Staff Tour Programming also assisted with the tour and discussion. Seven students attended along with their instructor.

Entercom Kansas City staff attended the University of Kansas Career Fair KAB / University of Sales Manager 9 April 2, 2019 Lawrence, KS sponsored by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters. Members of the Kansas Career Fair Promotions Director management team met with over 50 potential candidates.

Entercom attended the national industry wide career fair at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, 10 NAB National Job Fair April 9, 2019 Las Vegas. Entercom met with attendees, distributed job openings and HR Administrator NV discussed careers in radio at Entercom.

Entercom Kansas City hosted an on-site visit for students and staff from the Regional President/Market Missouri Broadcasters Association’s Radio Talent Institute program. The Manager Missouri Broadcasters Entercom agenda included an introduction by Entercom’s Regional President/Market Program Directors 11 Association Radio Talent July 31, 2019 Kansas City Manager, a tour of the Entercom Kansas City broadcast facilities, personal Sales Manager Institute sessions with prominent on-air talent and in-depth Q&A on sports play-by-play Account Manager and sports advertising & marketing. On-Air Talent The Missouri Broadcasters Association’s Radio Talent Institute program is a ten day radio immersion program bringing talented broadcasting students together with broadcast professionals to help them prepare for radio careers. Program Directors Missouri Broadcasters August 5 & Students must apply and be accepted into the program. Entercom staff spoke Music Director 12 Association Radio Talent Maryville, MO August 6, 2019 on a variety of topics including News Radio & Delivery, On-Air Presentation On-Air Talen Institute and Social Media Involvement. Staff also spoke to students individually Digital Content Manager regarding internships and job openings. Approximately 30 students were accepted into the Radio Talent Institute. Entercom Kansas City staff attended the University of Kansas Job & Volunteer University of Kansas Job August 26, Fair. Members of the management team met with over 50 potential Promotions Director 13 Lawrence, KS & Volunteer Fair 2019 candidates. Opportunities discussed included events, artist engagement Promotions Staff opportunities and promotions.
