Food Truck Mania Empress Theater Events Ukulele Lovers of Vallejo The HUB Events Input & Suggestions Ukulele Lovers of Vallejo, is a Empress Theater community-based music event held monthly at Events Consumer Music located on 1017 Summer of Love Festival Tennessee Street. Host Chie Treagus provides basic instruction and leads the group for the first hour. The event will be held on the first Thursday of each month, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Suggested donation is $5 per player. Sheet music and refreshment are provided. There will be ukuleles available to borrow if you do not have one, and a large variety of quality ukuleles for anyone to purchase at the store. The first hour will be for beginners. After an intermission, the second hour will be for more intermediate and advanced players. Anyone can suggest songs to share as long as they bring enough copies of music to the group. Vallejo Admirals Special Events Wednesday Night Live Featuring Angelex The Vallejo Admirals are holding several special events throughout the month of June. The Admirals will be playing their Home Opener game Friday, June 2 against San Rafael. On June 4, the Admirals will be celebrating Cancer Survivor Day, which is a day dedicated to promoting the awareness of all types of cancer and celebrating survivors. June 3 is Umpire Appreciation Day, and will recognize umpires, especially former Pacific Association Umpire Wayne Acerogiles, who recently passed away from cancer. On June 8, the Vallejo Admirals will be hosting End of School Night to celebrate the end of school year and the beginning of your summer vacation with the Admirals. Participants are encouraged to wear their school colors and see who represents their school the best.
