4 Ú NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Ú ENTRY FEES: $32.00 for the first entry of each dog except Puppy Classes (6-9 mos & 9-12 mos) for which the fee shall be $22.00 including $.50 A.K.C. recording fee & $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee and $26.00 for each additional entry of the same dog. Puppy Sweepstakes fee $12.00, but dog must be entered in a regular class. Bred-by-Exhibitor and Veteran $26.00. An AKC RECORDING FEE of $.50 and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. If a dog is entered in more than one class in one of these events, the AKC Recording Fee and Service Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 11, Section 2). RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a $20.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. The person accompanying a dog must show tickets of admission and identification before the dog will be received. CANADIAN EXHIBITORS make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS. NO ENTRY SHALL BE MADE AND NO ENTRY SHALL BE ACCEPTED WHICH SPECIFIES ANY CONDITIONS AS TO ITS ACCEPTANCE. ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if a dog has been processed, no refund will be made. CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING. DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging will be excused. JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The Show-giving club and the Superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent to be advised at once. The Superintendent and Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over. THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show. PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES. ONE EXHIBITOR'S ADMISSION TICKET will be issued for each Dog entered. SURRENDER OF IDENTIFICATION CARD must be made to the clerk when requested for removing dogs from the show. SPECIAL PLACES will be provided in the crate section for the cleaning and preparation of dogs for exhibition. Grooming tables in excess of 24 x 36 inches will not be permitted. The grooming of dogs is permitted in the crate section or outside the pavilion. EXHIBITORS AND HANDLERS will be responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates. ANY OUTSIDE AREAS USED FOR WALKING AND EXERCISING DOGS MUST BE PICKED UP AND KEPT CLEAN.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS AND HANDLERS: Dryers will be allowed in designated area only. No powdering of dogs will be permitted at any place in the building at any time. An Administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. Effective January 1, 2009 - Refund and Cash award checks are void after 180 days and will NOT be re-issued. Effective May 1, 2006 an administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.

NOTICE: Anyone who attends MARYLAND COCKER SPANIEL CLUB (MCSC) SPECIALTIES MUST sign this form.

NO EXCEPTIONS. This is for exhibitors, owners, family members and friends etc. if you are on the grounds, this form MUST be on file. This also includes minor children under 18years of age. This form should be presented as you enter the property.

I fully attest, to the best of my knowledge that I do not have COVID-19 at the time of attending this event. I also attest that I have NOT been in contact with or exposed to any known carrier of COVID-19 within the past 14 days. I also attest that I have not travelled to or returned from any of the states listed in the MD Travel Restrictions within the past 14 days. I agree that I am attending the MCSC SPECIALTIES entirely at my own risk and take full responsibility for my own health and safety during these events. I will follow American Kennel Club (AKC) and MCSC rules, requirements, procedures, protocols and guidelines to reduce any exposure and possibility of contracting or spreading the virus. I will also follow CDC, State of MD, Washington County rules regarding COVID-19.

I fully submit that the AKC, MCSC, Washington County Agricultural Education Center or any other contracted staff or any volunteers are in no way liable for any present or future COVID-19 exposure incurred at any time by any person, in attendance or not in attendance, during or after this event, and hereby waive all rights to file a lawsuit against above IF I am exposed to COVID-19.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned aprties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I( (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence or my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniels (Black, ASCOB, Parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in.; over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (Longhaired, Smooth, Wirehaired), Bull Terriers (Colored, White), Manchester Terriers (Standard, Toy), Chihuahuas (Smooth Coat, Long Coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (Toy, Miniature, Standard), Collies (Rough, Smooth). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owner's records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is Limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list, if the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on the entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to A.K.C. (For complete rule refer to Chapter 14, Section 3.). 5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience and Rally trials should mark Breed as AKC Canine Partners Listed Dog "All-American Dog/Mixed Breed."
