Inaugural Big Ten Tournament Champions 2014 u Senior defenseman Eddie Wittchow set up UW’s tying goal late in the third period last Friday that sent the game to overtime, then had the lone assist on UW’s short-handed Five-Time Big Ten Champions (unofficial) goal last Saturday. The points marked the first for Wittchow since March 4, 2014 when he (Competed 1969–81) had an assist at Michigan State. What a year it has been! I can’t begin thank the NA3HL teams enough for the way they have handled and navigated through this season. The fact that we made it through a full regular season and playoffs in all five divisions is a testament to how invested everyone was to making sure our players could compete and develop. As a result, we now get to celebrate this weekend with two great events in one location, the Fraser Cup and the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament.
