from MasterChef junior casting call District 65 and 202 The FOX cooking competition show, MasterChef Junior, students. is looking for children aged 8 to 13 years old compete for the coveted title. They casting call will be Saturday, Dec. 5. Battle of the Books club School picture retakes Battle of the Books is a terrific reading competition for fourth and Thursday, Nov. 19 fifth graders willing to read at least 12 books. The winning Washington team will represent the school in the District 65 Spring Thanksgiving concert, (K-2) Battle competition. To help students prepare, Battle Club meets 2:30 p.m. Friday mornings from 8:15 to 9 a.m. in the Washington library. Battle Club is free, and parents are welcome to attend.
