He has published widely in fields ranging from linguistics to natural history and archaeology, with his most recent contributions being for Fodor’s and Time Out travel guides. He also leads historical and natural history expeditions to Greece, Tuscany, and Sicily. Though currently based in southern Italy, Mark is a self-confessed Francophile, having traveled extensively in France since the 1960’s. He is looking forward to sharing his love of archaeology, pre history, and nature, and his enthusiasm for French culture and language with expedition members.
