How many public baths, washhouses and bathing huts are provided and maintained by the Parish Council and where are they located? The Parish Council does not operate any public baths, washhouses and bathing huts in the Parish area. 2. What is the current provision of public conveniences within the parish and what are the locations of the public conveniences within the Parish? The Parish council owns and operates two public conveniences in the Parish, at Trinity road and Pitt Road, as indicated on the location map - Public Toilets. 3. How many burial grounds, cemeteries, crematoria, mortuaries and post-mortem rooms are provided and maintained by the Parish Council and where are they located? Please list burial grounds, cemeteries, crematoria, mortuaries and post-mortem rooms separately. One cemetery only. Located at South Avenue, Hurstpierpoint. 4. How many burial grounds, cemeteries and crematoria have been acquired by the Parish Council, since the Parish has had the power to acquire burial grounds, cemeteries and crematoria and where are they located? Please list burial grounds, cemeteries and crematoria separately. One cemetery only, see above. 5. How many monuments and memorials are maintained by the Parish Council under its powers as a burial authority and where are they located? Memorials to individuals on graves are maintained by individual owners but safety issues monitored by Parish Council Cemetery Officer. 6. How many war memorials are maintained, protected and repaired by the Parish Council and where are they located? One war memorial is maintained, protected and repaired by Parish Council. Located adjacent to the Churchyard at the junctions of High Street and Cuckfield Road, Hurstpierpoint. 7. How many of these war memorials have undergone any alteration since the Parish Council undertook to maintain, protect and repair them? What were the alterations which took place? How many bus shelters are provided and maintained by the Parish Council and where are they located? The Parish Council owns and operates five bus shelters in the Parish, at High Street, Willow Way, Holy Trinity Church, and Wickham Hill, Hurstpierpoint and London Road, Sayers Common as indicated on the 3 location maps - Bus shelters. 9. How many public clocks are provided and maintained by the Parish Council and where are they located? The Parish council owns and operates no public clocks. 10. How many closed churchyards are maintained by the Parish Council and where are they located? The Parish council owns one closed churchyard at Church Fields, Hurstpierpoint, as indicated on the location map – Closed churchyard. 11. How many buildings are provided by the Parish Council for public meetings and public assemblies, where are they located and what action does the council take to promote their usage? The Parish Council does not own any buildings, used for public meetings and public assemblies. 12. How many buildings are provided and equipped, for the use by clubs which have a social, athletic or recreational purpose by the Parish Council and where are they located? The Parish Council does not own any buildings, for use by clubs with a social, athletic or recreational purpose. 13. How many conference facilities are provided by the Parish Council, where are they located and what action does the council take to promote their usage? How many areas of common pasture are provided by the Parish Council and where are they located? The Parish council owns and operates no areas of common pasture. 15. How many ponds and ditches does the Parish Council deal with and where are the located? The Parish council owns and operates no ponds and ditches. 16. How many areas of open space are maintained by the Parish Council and where are they located? The Parish council owns and operates areas of open space at: South Avenue, Hurstpierpoint, St Georges Lane, Hurstpierpoint, Reeds Lane, Sayers Common, and Reeds Lane North, Sayers Common, all as indicated on the locations maps – open space. 17. How many areas of open space have been acquired by the Parish Council, since the Parish has had the power to acquire open spaces? The Parish Council has acquired (by donation) two areas of open space. 18. How many gymnasiums, playing fields, boating pools, and holiday camps are provided and maintained by the Parish Council and where are they located? Please list gymnasiums, playing fields, boating pools, and holiday camps separately? How many roadside seats and roadside shelters are provided and maintained by the Parish Council and where are they located? The Parish Council owns and maintains nine roadside seats in the Parish. The seats in Hurstpierpoint are located at the Hurstpierpoint Health Centre twitten, corner of Cuckfield Road and Fairfield Crescent, corner of Cuckfield Road and Marchants Road, corner of Wickham Drive and College Lane, corner of Weald Close and Western Road, corner of Willow Way and Cuckfield Road, corner of Orchard Way and Albourne Road, St Georges Lane. The seat in Sayers Common is located at London Road in Sayers Common. These seats are indicated on the 3 location maps – Roadside Seats. The Parish Council owns and maintains five roadside shelters in the Parish. The shelters in Hurstpierpoint are located at Hurstpierpoint High Street (Village Green Garden), Willow Way, Holy Trinity Church/War Memorial, Wickham Hill. The shelter in Sayers Common is located at London Road, Sayers Common. These shelters are indicated on the 3 location maps - Bus shelters. 20. How many schemes of collective investment are participated in by the Parish Council? The Parish Council participates in no schemes of collective investment 21. Which lotteries are promoted by the Parish Council? The Parish Council promotes no lotteries. 22. What wells, springs, and streams are currently utilised as a water supply within the Parish? and The Parish Council utilises no wells, springs, and streams. 23. What facilities are provided to allow for the facilitation of their use as a water supply by the Parish Council? Please see the answer to 22 above.
