INTERNATIONAL AWARDS YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAMME (YEP!) Jack Cavanagh, 3rd year Furniture Design & Manufacture student was awarded a certificate of Special Acknowledgement in the recent Halabala International Furniture and Interior Design Competition in the Czech Republic for his ‘Glide Desk’. The competition is in memory of Jindřich Halabala, an important proponent of modernist, industrially manufactured furniture in the post-war period in the Czech Republic. There were more than 250 pieces entered in the competition, which is coordinated by Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic." Well done on a great achievement!
