Like us Uxbridge are currently undefeated in league games to date and we are only separated in the league table with a slightly better goal difference and occupy fourth and fifth positions respectively (Cheshunt having just moved above us both having played a game more). Games between us have usually been very close affairs and things are certainly looking to be in that direction currently. Our trip to Kempston Rovers on Saturday ended in defeat although I think that a draw would have been a fairer outcome based on the game itself.

  • Herne Bay FC Supporters' Update 36 – 03/02/2020
Herne Bay FC Supporters’ Update 36 – 03/02/2020 The Match Preview from Hastings United: Hastings United’s league campaign continues on Tuesday 28th January with a visit from in-form Herne Bay. Last Saturday’s dramatic finale saw United score twice in the last ten minutes and rescue a point away to Sevenoaks Town. United fans heart rates will have just about settled down in time for this rearranged game which was postponed in December. Saturday’s result means United continued their unbeaten start to the new year, the draw going alongside four wins. The one-nil reverse at Ashford United remains the only league defeat. United found themselves two goals adrift at the weekend for the first time this season, indeed it is only the second time they have conceded more than one goal in a league game. Away to Guernsey being the other. On both occasions a belligerent refusal to accept defeat has seen United recover and claim a point. With Ashford losing on Saturday, the Sevenoaks draw meant the ‘U’s extended their lead at the top to five points. Herne Bay are displaying some form of their own. In their last six games they have won four, drawn one and lost one. This includes impressive away victories at Cray Valley and Guernsey. On Saturday they won 2 – 0 at home to Chichester City. This form has seen them climb to 6th in the table sitting just outside the play-off places. Actually, they are level on points with the teams in 4th and 5th, and with this game in hand to come.

WELCOME! Hadley v Enfield 1893 The Buildbase FA Vase 2nd Round Qualifying Saturday 15th September 2018 3.00pm, Brickfield Lane Good afternoon and welcome to today's Buildbase FA Vase 2nd Round Qualifying game against Enfield 1893 FC. We hope their players, officials and supporters have an enjoyable short stay with us and have a safe journey home later. We also extend a very warm welcome to our three match officials. On Wednesday evening we were knocked out of the FA Cup following a 1-0 defeat in the 1RQ replay against Leverstock Green. It was a hard fought match where a direct free kick that went in off the post was all that separated the two sides over two matches. Good luck to Leverstock Green in the next round against Dorking Wanderers, and we now turn our attention to today’s FA Vase match. I would like to wish good luck to both sides this afternoon and hope all of you enjoy the game and get behind the Bricks! Message from the Chairman I would extend a warm welcome to the supporters of Wodson Park, and Players Committee to London Colney today. I look forward to an entertaining and fun filled match. We wish the very best of luck to all teams competing in the league this season, however we will obviously be looking for our boys to put on a great performance and do us proud.
