The Trust’s 2015 Battle of the Atlantic week activities promise to be larger than usual as we mark the 70th year after the end of WWII, recalling that the war at sea waged for six long years. This campaign saw the enemy come to our shores with U-boats penetrating deeply into the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the St. Lawrence River and boldly coming ashore in Labrador to install a weather station. Information on our Battle of the Atlantic week program can be found on the last page of this issue.
