Indirect target groups are authorities of 23 municipalities, Agency for the prevention of corruption and the Supreme State Prosecution whose efforts in fighting corruption at the local level will thereby receive support. The final beneficiaries are the citizens of Montenegro. Enhanced cooperation between civil society organisations and (local) authorities to improve citizens’ participation in the fight against local level corruption. Strengthened capacities of civil society organisations to fight corruption at the local level through monitoring, advocacy and awareness campaigns. Increased citizens’ interest and capacities to fight corruption at the local level Coalition of CSOs for transparency and fight against corruption at the local level; Training for Coalition members in methods of fight against corruption at the local level; Mobile application „Municipalities free of corruption“ for reporting of corruption cases (android and IOS); MoC between the Coalition and Anti Corruption Agency and Supreme State Prosecution; A. Monitoring of authorities’ response to citizens’ reports of corruption; Tw o annual reports on the implementation of anticorruption policies at the local level; Final research and production of report on the openness, responsibility and level of integrity of Montenegrin municipalities “Transparency Index of Montenegrin municipalities”; Award for the most transparent municipality; Tw o annual conferences on the results of fight against corruption in MNE municipalities and presentation of reports. Sub-granting for local CSOs, 2 annual calls linked to contribution to implementation of municipal integrity plans; and A Capacity building programme for the supported CSOs in project management and advocacy; Mentorship to supported CSOs; Brochure with the results of supported projects. Creation of a web platform of virtual “Museum of corruption”; Call for submissions of the best visual solutions/illustrations of the consequences of corruption for society; Awards for the 5 best works; Compiling materials for all municipalities; Sorting and uploading materials on the website; Launching of the virtual “Museum of Corruption” Three presentations of the virtual “Museum of Corruption” in South, North and Central MNE; Tw o regional art colonies on communicating corruption in artistic manner; Preparation and presentation of 3 artistic performances; Creation of 3 video clips/animations on social cost of corruption; Final conference and presentation of achieved results. .

    MONTENEGRO When using the data STATISTICAL OFFICE please name the source R E L E A S E No: 130 Podgorica, 29 July 2020 Arrivals and overnight stays of tourists in collective accommodation1 Jun 2020(p) In Montenegro in June 2020, in collective accommodation (camping sites, tourist resorts, vacation facilities, boarding houses, motels, etc.) tourists realised 89.6% less arrivals compared to June 2019. The number of realised overnight stays decreased by 91.4% compared to the same month last year. Overnight stays of foreign tourists represent 35.8% while the domestic tourists represent 64.2% of all overnight stays in collective accommodation in June 2020. Concerning the structure of overnight stays by types of resorts in June 2020, the most of them were recorded in seaside resorts (85.5%), the capital (2.7%), in mountain resorts (4.8%) and other tourist resorts (6.5%). Please bring this copy. www.venice.coe.int 2 CDL-REF(2014)043 DRAFT LAW ON COURTS I BASIC PROVISIONS Scope Article 1 The present Law shall regulate establishment, organisation, and jurisdiction of courts; organisation of work of courts and judicial administration, and other matters of importance for orderly and timely functioning of courts. Judicial Power Article 2 Judicial power shall be exercised by courts established under the present Law. Courts shall decide on legal matters under their jurisdiction in a lawful, objective, and timely manner. Judicial office shall be exercised by judges and lay judges. Accessibility of Courts and Equality of Arms Article 3 Everyone shall have the right to address a court for the purpose of exercising his/her rights. Everyone shall be equal before a court. Publicity Article 4 The work of courts shall be public. Public nature of the work of courts shall be ensured in accordance with law. E-mail: [email protected] ABSTRACT Th e purpose of this research study is to examine body height in both Montenegrin sexes and map local geographical diff erences within both groups. A total of 2088 individuals (981 boys and 1107 girls) participated in this research study, and anthropometrical data were collected from 23 municipalities throughout the country. Th e anthropometric measurements were taken according to the ISAK protocol. Means and standard deviations were calculated for ages and anthropometric variable (body heights) as well as frequencies for the calculation of density of very short and very tall subjects. Th e results revealed that Montenegrin boys are 183.36±6.89 cm tall, while Montenegrin girls are 169.38±6.37 cm tall. Th e results of this study confi rmed our assumption that both men and women in Montenegro are among the tallest people on the planet. However, the regional variation is considerable: from 181.25 cm in the municipality of Cetinje to 185.51 cm in the municipalities of Kolasin and Savnik for males and from 162.53 cm in the municipalities of Plav and Andrijevica to 170.86 cm in the municipality of Niksic for females. Th e measured values of body heights in Montenegro are currently one of the highest in the world, while the secular trend might increase it in the upcoming decades.

Temporal frame for the study covers the period from prehistoric of our time. The focus of research directed on two sets of questions, it is on: the characteristics of economic development to the Second World War and on characteristics of the development of the economy after the Second World War. By the beginning World War II, analyzed the geographical space was one of the underdeveloped areas of Montenegro. Prevailing is mostly agricultural production. After the Second World War former Yugoslavia, in whose composition is entered and Montenegro, started is in process accelerated industrialization. High measure of job security prevented activity mechanism of competition and the market economy. There was no pressure on employed workers to increase efficiency, which led to such situations that for exercise same scale of production engaged considerably more workers than in the classical (an entrepreneurial) firms.     SETTLEMENTS AND POPULATION OF THE PRESENT-DAY MONTENEGRIN POLIMLJE IN THE SECOND HALF OF 15TH CENTURY MARIJAN PREMOVIĆ* Introduction Geographically, Polimlje (the Lim valley) region falls into three parts: Upper, Central and Lower Polimlje. According to geographers, Upper Polimlje stretches from Gusinje to Berane, Central – from Bijelo Polje to Prijepolje, while Lower Polimlje encompasses the area from Prijepolje to the confl uence of the Lim into the Drina river. However, it is a homogeneous geographic region of the Lim river basin comprising certain parts of the territories of the present-day Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Administratively, the Montenegrin Polimlje comprises the municipalities of Gusinje, Plav, Andrijevica, Berane, Petnjica and Bijelo Polje.1 Ottoman rules at the end of 14th and in the fi rst half of 15th century did not, as it seems, result in any signifi cant changes or population movements in these parts. Not even after the fi nal conquest of this area (1455) did any major demographic change or an interruption in the population continuity occur. The fact that all the places in the parishes and wider areas kept their former names bears witness to this notion. GENERAL PROVISIONS Subject matter of the Law Article 1 This Law shall regulate establishment, organisation and jurisdiction of the courts, organisation of the work in courts and judicial administration and other issues relevant to orderly and timely functioning of the courts. Judicial power Article 2 The judicial power shall be exercised by courts established by this law. The court shall be obliged to decide legally, objectively and timely on the legal thing that falls under its jurisdiction. Accessibility of the courts and equality of parties Article 3 Everyone shall have the right of access to court for the purpose of exercising his rights. Everyone is equal before the court. Publicity Article 4 The publicity of the work of the court shall be provided in accordance with the law. Impartiality Article 5 Everyone is entitled to an impartial trial within a reasonable time, and everyone has the right to have his legal matter heard and determined by a randomly selected judge, regardless of the parties to the case and the nature of the case.
