It was an ally of Rome when it was besieged and captured by the Cathaginians under Hannibal (218 BC). This led to the second Punic War. La Fase II y la Fase III son las que están en marcha. En este aspecto, hay que tener en cuenta que las diferentes acciones se acometen con diversas subvenciones y determinados plazos de ejecución.
