Glory is off to a strong start of the back a great season last year, currently sitting 3rd on the NPL Ladder. The Lions are licking our wounds after a poor start to the season and a very disappointing result away to Rockingham last week which was resulted in some changes at the helm. The team will be looking to bounce back with performance against a very youthful Glory line up and set the season back on track. Our special guests included Donna, Giuffre, Karen, John & Lee Bondi, Chris De Lima, Don Evans and Perth Glory super star Dino Djulbic. The game was played in high spirits and strongly supported with a crowd of over 1,000 supporters attending and Perth SC taking the chocolates on the day 3 - 0. We wish to thank all the supports, players and volunteers for supporting such a worthy cause. Special thanks to Perth Glory for donating team signed merchandise for the day. The signed ball was actioned and achieve $700. A 3-3 draw away to Sorrento where we enjoyed a lion’s share of possession was followed by our first win of the season against Rockingham last week, 4-3. Today we welcome Perth Glory and hopefully we can continue our trend of improvement against what is sure to be a talented and well organised team. My assistant Dom Ciullo and I are extremely pleased with the progression of our young side who are proving to be not only keen learners but also more than capable of executing.
