BAUER MEDIA TRAIL BLAZES IN RADIO WITH HALF OF ALL LISTENING VIA DIGITAL

- 49.1% of all UK listening to stations through digital (compared to industry average of 36.6%)

- Bauer Radio number one commercial radio company for digital listening in reach (9.38m) and hours (66.2m)

- Absolute 80s, Kerrang!, , , Heat and 90s claim commercial top 6 for digital-only stations

- Magic 105.4 reclaims the number one commercial crown for reach

Bauer’s Passion Portfolio is the home of passionate, iconic national brands dedicated to music and entertainment:  The Passion Portfolio reached 9.5m adults each week (up 4.6% yoy)  Nationally, Kiss performed strongly, reaching over 4.6m adults each week (up 12% yoy)  Kiss FM bags number one commercial breakfast slot in London (led by Rickie, Melvin & Charlie in the Morning) with 1m listeners, up 26.2% yoy, beating into second place. Hours listened up an impressive 44.2% yoy  In London, Kiss FM reaches 1.84m listeners a week and remains the most listened to radio station in the for 15-24, 15-34 and 15-44 year olds  Kisstory had another impressive performance, with its old skool and anthems reaching its highest-ever audience of 933,000 listeners each week. Sister station in the , , reached 418,000 listeners  Absolute , the recently crowned UK Radio Brand of the Year ( Awards) performed strongly, reaching 3.5m listeners every week (adding 291,000 new listeners, an increase of 9% yoy)  Nationally, Absolute Radio’s Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show reached 1.5m listeners (adding 69,000 new listeners and up 5% yoy)  Absolute Radio 80s remains the no. 1 commercial digital station, reaching 1.1m listeners (up 8% yoy)  Planet Rock reached 1.1m listeners (adding 189,000 listeners yoy) and increased listening hours by 24.8% yoy  reached 780,000 listeners, up 19.6% yoy, with hours listened also up 13.5% yoy.

Steve Parkinson, Managing Director, Bauer Radio London, said: “The big news for the Passion portfolio this quarter is the strong performance of our digital-only stations, which now command the top six most popular commercial slots in the UK. The wider portfolio is also in rude health, with our Kiss and Absolute Radio networks adding hundreds of thousands of new listeners nationally.”

Bauer’s Place Portfolio focuses on relevant and local programming in the premier towns and cities across the UK:  The portfolio is commercial number one for reach in every one of our 21 markets, reaching 8.6m adults each week  In London, Magic 105.4 reclaimed the number one commercial crown for reach, up 4.4% to 1.94m listeners  Positive Place Portfolio figures led by strong performances from: o Key 103 () reaching 660,000 listeners, up 34.4% yoy to a 10 year high and regaining its position as commercial market leader o 96.7 () where strong growth at breakfast and drive helped the station reach 447,000 listeners (up 6.7% yoy)
