S1 to S3 Tables S1 References 1 Materials and Methods Genome Sequencing and Analysis Nasopharyngeal and throat swab samples from COVID-19 confirmed cases with Ct value < 25 was collected and transported to Biotechnology Division, NCDC from the various testing sites across the States as per the sampling strategy of Central Surveillance Unit (CSU) of Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), NCDC. Twenty-seven post-vaccinated COVID-19 positive samples were also included in this study. All patient details were filled on the patient identification form and were accompanied with the samples. A total of 11,335 samples were received for genomic sequencing at NCDC from Nov 2020 till May 2021. The RNA was isolated using MagNA Pure RNA extraction system (Roche).

Units are aware that AIEBA has taken up the matter with the Finance Minister and the GST Council for exempting Mediclaim policy premium paid by the retirees from the purview of GST. The matter has been taken up with IBA who have also represented to the Government not to levy GST on the premium. Since the exemption can be given only by the GST Council, we had asked all our State Federations to contact the respective GST Council Members from their States to follow up the matter and to take up the issue in the next meeting of the GST Council. Today, in Chennai, we met Shri D. Jayakumar, Hon. Minister for Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Govt. of Tamilnadu who is the Member of GST Council representing Tamilnadu Government. We submitted a copy of our letter to Finance Minister and explained the issue in detail. He was appreciative of the reasonableness of our demand and assured to write to the GST Council to discuss the issue. He also assured to pursue the matter in the GST Council meeting. He suggested that we should meet other members of the GST Council in this regard so that the issue gets some momentum.

Select the subject(s) in which the candidate is desirous of availing the re- evaluation. IV. The candidates shall submit the prescribed fee through online mode only. V.     Origin of the Rajputs : ______

    ORIGIN OF THE RAJPUTS : __________________________ There is no agreement among the scholars regarding the origin of the Rajputs. It has been opined by many scholars that the Rajputs are the descendants of foreign invaders like Sakas, Kushana, white- Hunas etc. All these foreigners, who permanently settled in India, were absorbed within the Hindu society and were accorded the status of the Kshatriyas. It was only afterwards that they claimed their lineage from the ancient Kshatriya families. The other view is that the Rajputs are the descendants of the ancient Brahamana or Kshatriya families and it is only because of certain circumstances that they have been called the Rajputs. Earliest and much debated opinion concerning the origin of the Rajputs is that all Rajput families were the descendants of the Gurjaras and the Gurjaras were of foreign origin. Therefore, all Rajput families were of foreign origin and only, later on, were placed among Indian Kshatriyas and were called the Rajputs. The adherents of this view argue that we find references to the Guijaras only after the 6th century when foreigners had penetrated in India. So, they were not of Indian origin but foreigners. Cunningham described them as the descendants of the Kushanas. A.M.T. Jackson described that one race called Khajara lived in Arminia in the 4th century. When the Hunas attacked India, Khajaras also entered India and both of them settled themselves here by the beginning of the 6th century. These Khajaras were called Gurjaras by the Indians. Kalhana has narrated the events of the reign of Gurjara king, Alkhana who ruled in Punjab in the 9th century.
