KEEP and IMPROVE the CALIFORNIA Social Media Action Plan KEEP AND IMPROVE THE CALIFORNIA END OF LIFE OPTION ACT Social Media Action in support of SB 380 Thanks for everything you have done to help SB 380, the bill to keep and improve the California End of Life Option Act, cross the finish line and become law. We are so close to passing this critical legislation, and we need your help to boost our cause on social media. Here’s what you can do to help: 1. Download our “I Support SB 380 Because” sign. 2. Print out the sign. Make sure your printer is set to print landscape. (If you don’t have a printer, just write it on a sheet of paper!) 3. Write why you support SB 380 in a few words. a. Here are some suggestions: i. I Support SB 380 Because Terminally Ill Californians Don’t Have Time to Wait ii. I Support SB 380 Because Every Californian Deserves Peace at the End of Their Life iii. I Support SB 380 Because the End of Life Option Act is Important To Me And I Want it to Stay! 4. The USEER analyzes data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) to track employment across many energy production, transmission, and distribution subsectors. In addition, the 2021 USEER relies on a unique supplemental survey of 30,000 business representatives across the United States. Created and conducted by BW Research with a methodology that has been approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), this survey is used to identify energy-related employment within key subsectors of the broader industries as classified by the BLS and to assign them into their component energy and energy efficiency sectors. About This Report This is the fourth annual Clean Jobs California report produced by E2 based on analysis of the USEER, which was first released by the DOE in 2016.
